This place truly is AS GOOD AS IT GETS! We broke down outside of Lava Beds National Monument and…read morehad to be towed the 50 miles back to Oregon. We'd called ahead and Rod (the owner) told us we could park our camper in his lot and plug into his power and water while we were there (we arrived after he closed). We chose this place instead of going to the Ford dealership in Klamath Falls because the park ranger stopped to check on us and he recommended R&D. He said that he took all of his gov't trucks there plus his personal diesel truck. The next morning, his diesel tech (Scott) got to work right away and identified our problem right away (our fan clutch wiring harness broke and the wires got chewed up in the fan). The problem was expensive to fix (because of the part being so expensive) but Scott took a three hour job and completed it in 2.25 hours (AND he replaced my serpentine belt while he was at it) and we were on our way by 1030am. Honest mechanics are invaluable...these guys are just that. This is evidenced that by 0830, his parking lot was FULL of trucks waiting to be serviced from the surrounding farms (it was completely empty at 0730).

They went ahead and installed the transmission without my approval and charged me almost $1400 . when I paid for the services, they gave me the keys and I let them know. It looked like it had been wrecked or someone ran into it I took pictures before I left the parking lot , called Lee's the next morning while they were open for business and was told the vehicle already came in this way I asked to review the tapes to prove it was not brought in this way The employee had attitude and told me to make a police report and walked out on me very unprofessional and I would never recommend this place to anybody I know ever again it's been a horrible experience!
