Our engagement shoot with her was fun and laid-back, and she provided a fantastic guide with a wide selection of photoshoot locations to choose from. The week of the shoot, she was flexible and helped us pivot to Filoli and Golden Gate Park when we realized it would be rainy -- and the results were stunning. On top of her professionalism, she is so easygoing and genuinely fun to spend time with (which matters since you spend more time with your photographer than almost anyone else on your wedding day!). Her photography speaks for itself -- dreamy editing that is meticulous while still capturing the natural beauty of the surroundings. We love her documentary style because nothing feels forced. Even though we aren't the most comfortable in front of the camera, Meg had an endless supply of cute prompts that helped us relax and pose naturally. On the wedding day we ran a bit behind schedule, but Meg stayed calm and cool even while managing our large and lively extended Asian family. We are absolutely obsessed with every single photo she delivered. She was hands down our favorite and most valuable vendor -- worth every penny and more!

Our engagement shoot involved three different locations in the city, and are still some of my favorite photos ever taken, especially those at Cafe Zoetrope. She was so fun and relaxing to be around, so we have super fond memories of that day. Meg's talent in natural settings made her the perfect choice for our May wedding at Harvest Inn in St. Helena. As soon as she stepped on the scene, she was always doing the MOST and making magic happen. She even sent us our gallery way sooner than expected, and we were just blown away by the variety of stunning images. Along with being a pleasure to work with, she is super organized with her email communication and attention to detail, which I so appreciated. She is the BEST!

Thankfully Christina did not skip a beat, and went into hyper speed. I explained to her the style I liked (darker, crisper, grainer images) and she captured it perfectly. She wrote down everything in her cute little notepad and was super attentive. She was easy to get in contact with, very go-with-the-flow which I LOVE, and made everyone at the wedding feel at ease. We had our dog at the wedding and she let us take some pictures with him (so dorky I know but that's us) so that's extra points in my book! We received a few preview pictures shortly after the wedding and of course we were in LOVE. I couldn't stop staring. When we received the full online album, it was everything we wanted and more. She broke it down into categories and captured everything from the decor (which I was so excited for because as a bride getting ready you don't get to see all the decorations set up and all the hard work put in until after the ceremony), getting ready in the hotel, speeches, cocktail hour, one on one portraits, etc. She was so great to work with. She's obviously great for weddings but would be great for just about anything I'm sure (maternity, engagement photos, family photos, DOG photos!!, etc).

After my first meeting with Bethany I felt so relieved and excited about having my photos taken by her! Meeting with Bethany in person immediately showed how much care and attention to detail she brings to her craft. She's a very astute listener, and is able to understand and apply your vision to the process. She even found reference material based on our conversation, which further proved that she understood exactly what I wanted. Working with Bethany was a breeze. My wedding was a little off the grid, but she had no problem making the trip and arriving early enough to take in the layout of the venue and scope out the best spots for photos. She really put me and my husband at ease during the process and made it really fun to have our photos taken. She was easily able to put other guests at ease, who otherwise don't enjoy having their photos taken. The result was incredible! She captured all the moments during the ceremony that we wanted to remember, but simply couldn't because of the typical wedding jitters and craziness of the day. The portraits are gorgeous and ready to be printed to be cherished forever. Every time I look at the photos, I feel SO happy. Bethany really went above and beyond to ensure that our photos captured the magic of the day. Thank you Bethany for your incredible artistry, skill and absolutely fantastic personality!

Leading up to our wedding day she was very communicative and laid out a clear plan of when we would meet at City Hall, as well as where we would take our photos around the city. Simone was great with us as well as our friends and family, corralling us and ensuring that she captured emotional and authentic moments. On a side note, because she is so familiar with city hall she was able to give us tips of what to request for our ceremony and get the most out of our time in the government building. We had so much fun on our shoot around the city with Simone! Other reviewers have mentioned it, but her general demeanor and laughter is contagious and she kept our energy levels up with her good energy. She made us feel so special and comfortable which led to beautiful, emotional photos. Simone delivered the photos in a timely manner and gave full access to download our photos on our hard drive. We are still enjoying the process of reviewing our photos for an album because there are so many photos to choose from and remembering our special day. To sum up, we whole-heartedly recommend Simone as THE photographer to capture your special life events.
