This practice was recommended to…read moreus in 2014 and we have received excellent treatment and service all along, for baby, child, and adult patients. This is a family medicine practice with a pediatric focus and they have cared for both of our children from the days they were born. Dr. Eck walked across the street from his office to St. Luke's to meet our babies in postpartum recovery. He and his team have treated numerous ailments and issues for us over the years. It's usually easy to get in with one of the three providers within a day or two, often same-day. We have had two insurance billing issues come up and, contrary to two other reviews I've seen online, Laura and Julie were easy to work with and happy to help us figure them out. One of them dragged on for many months, I'm sorry to say, and though it was ultimately resolved by our insurance company, I can absolutely understand why the office may have needed to tighten their policies about outstanding payments after that experience (which I'm sure was just one of many). We love Colleen and Terryn, who are both exceptional nurse practitioners, nurses Faith and Stephanie know us by name and are delightful, and not only is Dr. Eck an excellent physician, bonus points to him for his dad jokes. ;-) This practice is GREAT!

Going to this health care provider is like going to a used car lot, everything is bait and switch…read more The doctors don't care about getting to know you or caring about what you know about your own body. Their primary and only concern is how to immediately turn every interaction into a "Treatment" session and therefore immediately a billable appointment. They come into the room not caring what you are there for, not wanting to hear what you have to say, not interested in your input they only what to discuss what they have already predetermined is wrong with you and how THEY want to treat you without out actually getting any input from the patient. In the end you are nothing more than a set of numbers on a chart, you are not a person, or a patient, you are a billing code and as quickly as they can get you in and out the happier they are. I have been seen by two different doctors at this location returning to it after leaving the state for sometime, on return found out my original doctor had retired. Both of the new doctors are condescending, have no patient concern or care, refuse to listen to what you need. My last visit was supposed to be to review my year labs, doctor walked in and only wanted to talk about treatment for blood pressure, no discussion of what the lab results were, what they mean nothing just straight to billing, walked out of the appointment three minutes into it. Previous visit I sat in the room and answered questions about my medical history for 10-15 minutes and ended up receiving a bill from the doctors office for over $700 for paperwork. Called Blue Cross and asked why the bill was not covered at all and found out that the doctor office never submitted the bill to them which according to Blue Cross they are legally required to do, so they charge you and threaten collections, don't submit to insurance, don't listen to what you need, fail to provide the service you request, don't give you the answers your asking for. As I said its like going to a cheap used car lot and getting worked over.

This entire company is frustrating! Their billing is absolutely ridiculous. You pay $200 up front…read more They tell you if your bill is less, they will give you a refund. If it's more, then they will send you a bill, or you can pay before you leave with a discounted price. I've gone twice this year. The first, I owed more, but they couldn't decide how much I owed. Couldn't figure out the discount. Told me that they were "fried" and wanted to go home while they were figuring out what I owed. They charged me wrong and I got a bill for it. They didn't honor their mistake and I had to pay more. THEN, my husband went in for an ear infection. They did nothing special, he paid $200. Said they'd call him when the doctor put in the notes how much the visit would be. They never called. I called billing and they told me that the visit SHOULD be $144. That we'd get a refund of $56. I waited a month. I called in again and they told me the amount was actually $201 and that they were nice enough to shave off that dollar. For a 5 minute visit to prescribe antibiotics??? And the billing person had absolutely NO idea what was happening. Explained that there were no notes, but then told me that the amount was $201?? This whole place is a scam and is perfectly happy to steal your money.

I was told by the ER hospital in arizona to follow up with my primary. When I got home in Boise well my primary was Dr. Michaud so that's what I did...and tbh I wish I would have just stayed at home. He not only insulted me multiple times by insinuating that I was some drug addict but then took my money and refused to help me. I was injured twice in a month this is not something that is ever even happened to me but unfortunately I fell down 12 stairs was rushed to the hospital by ambulance was told I had a severely bad contusion sent home. a few weeks later while at my friends house in AZ I accidentally fell while taking the dogs inside some of the dogs were playing and fighting got overly excited knocked into me and I fell on my rear. I was taken to the hospital and it was at the hospital where they confirmed I indeed had broken my tailbone that time. So today I went to my appointment this was the second visit with the dr. On the first visit I brought documentation of the broken bone & I agreed to due a urinalysis and even agreed that they could have all the documentation from previous visits. Now first urinalysis had THC in it which I informed the dr prior to taking it was going to be there because some idiots thought it to be funny to give me gummies and not tell me they were thc gummies. Knowing this he prescribed me 12 5mg Percocet I was told to take 1 every 6 hrs as needed for pain. He wrote that prescription on May 29 and I finished that prescription June 7th I don't think that's drug addict behavior do yall? Today's visit marks 3 weeks since I broke my tailbone I was told it could be up to 8 weeks before it's healed so I went today to get my meds refiled mind you it's been two days since I took them and I've been in a lot of pain. I feel like I was hit in the anus with a hammer. So I do my urinalysis and because there was thc in my urinalysis he then refused to fill them???? So now I'm stuck being in pain for something he knew the last time I visited. Please for the love of GOD How is this ok behavior? The mindset here in Boise is absolutely insane so now Im in a horrendous amount of pain all because a dr wanted to be an inconsiderate unsympathetic judgemental jerk How is this compassionate healthcare? And how is this not considered some kind of physical and mental abuse? You know he wouldn't even look me in the eye when he was speaking to me....WOW!!! is all I can say and for everyone reading this please take note I'm in no way shape or form a drug seeker. I don't even drink alcohol, like I said in the previous paragraph some dumbass in California thought it was funny to give me some gummies with cannabis's in it. had I known that is what they gave me I wouldn't of ever taken the crap. And again I even shared this information with the Dr last week when I seen him. So can someone please tell me How in the hell is it ok for a dr to make such accusations and then deny healthcare to a woman who isn't seeking meds from anyone other than who she was directed to go to? I Feel degraded I feel ignored I feel unsafe and I feel like this Dr has some hidden agenda because I felt as there's no concern for my health or my safety. If anyone has ever broken your coccyx bone you know the excruciating pain that is associated with it. How someone can claim to be a Dr and fail to address and help the patient with their problems you shouldn't be a Dr at all. When is someone going to do something about the way these drs are handling me when I'm in Boise??? You know I'm an artist in the music industry so I travel often I've never been hurt but twice and once was in California and I have to give it to California when it comes to healthcare. They are compassionate, non judgmental, people who really care about a patients concerns. They allow you to feel heard and they allow you a say in how your treated I feel like that's the way healthcare should Be!! NOT this one sided one minded white supremacist dictatorship!! Like they have going on in Boise. I hope this man loses his license for his inappropriate behavior today. Thanks for nothing Dr. Michaud you reminded me why I don't go to the drs in the first place! It's like whenever we really need help yall can't be dependent on. I have faith that my Heavenly Father will seek damages for your wrong doings. you know god don't like ugly and he sure isn't fond of pretty either. May you be punished for abusing me the way you did today. Please Donald Trump Shut this place down and all the other ones like it. Boise residents deserve better.

He is incredibly attentive and actually listens -- even when what I'm trying to explain doesn't come out perfectly. He has never once made me feel judged, dismissed, or like I don't know what I'm talking about. Dr. Chong treats me with genuine respect, and that alone sets him apart. When other doctors gave up on me, he didn't. He took the time to understand my situation and stayed committed to helping me find answers. I truly appreciate him and the care he provides. If you're looking for a doctor who is compassionate, patient, and willing to really listen, I highly recommend Dr. Chong at St. Alls family Medicine.

Thank you so much for creating this life changing tragedy my wife and I have had to endure these last 6 months... if not the rest of our lives! She is in critical condition. This situation was so simple to avoid had St. Al's hired competent physicians that could understand labs results and dial a telephone. My wife pleaded with Shae regarding her debilitating symptoms and condition. We are so grateful for the Urgent Care Doctor and his translator in Vegas. Within 3 minutes and $50, we were made aware of her chronic illness that had persisted for 7 months. The good news is that she may recover given her deserved treatment in the hospital.

We walked in and we were instantly greeted by the nice receptionist. She got us all checked in, updated my husband's insurance information and billing. And then we chilled in the waiting area. We were called back by the nurse. She took my husband's vitals and asked us if we had any medical concerns. She was really kind! Nurse Niki did a great job getting my husband's appointment started. Today was our first initial visit with Dr. Mohamed. He was fantastic! Dr. Mohamed was very thorough. He was very attentive and was very engaged. I appreciate that he took his time with the appointment. He didn't rush us, made sure he covered all of our questions and concerns. It was a breathe of fresh air to have a dr taking his time for his patient. If you're looking for a new primary dr, I would recommend Dr. Mohamed.

An insurance rep even called to inform them of the delay so they wouldn't give me any problems. Unfortunately the fun was only beginning. Billing has a policy of only including specific dates of service and a list of services with the first bill. Even cross-referencing the first bill, subsequent bills were impossible to make sense of because the amounts and dates kept changing. Even after the insurance issue was resolved, one twin's wellness visit was still getting denied. Insurance reps said they were billing incorrectly. The first billing rep I spoke with also noted discrepancies in how each visit was billed. I used to review claims for a health insurance company, too, and knew they were billing with the wrong codes. Sometimes mistakes are made on the insurance side, but this was not one of those times. The last time I spoke with a billing rep, they were very uppity and denied making any mistakes. Once again, a rep from my insurance company called them directly. The bill was resubmitted and paid, with the exception of hospital services for what I thought was a routine blood test for the younger twin. Whatever. I was tired of arguing at that point. One other thing: visits would last forever, about an hour per child, and most of that time was spent sitting and waiting in the exam room. Imagine how fun that was with both children in their terrible twos and threes. There's a lot of things I'll miss about Boise; this place is not one of them. They can't be faulted for the initial delay, but billing policies and poor customer service are on them.
