With our own business, our taxes were quite complex. We had used the same CPA for years but…read moreeverything was always a 'crisis' and difficult to understand, so we were looking for a change. We tried a new, local CPA here in Florida and after two years were no better off. My brother recommended his accountant, Scott Wachtel, who he described as exceptional. What can I say? In mere weeks Scott had set straight what the other firms had made so difficult and intimidating. For the first time in years we understand our situation and are finally getting caught up. Scott is an excellent communicator who explains things in such a manner so that we understand what is required, and are able to complete our taxes and get our lives back in order. The stress is gone and we are finally current. We HIGHLY recommend Scott to anyone in need of excellent service in any tax or accounting situation. His work is outstanding.

He is very helpful and responds quickly when I have questions. Cain and Company knows their stuff. Also - Cain and Company has saved me a lot of money ($,$$$) when filing tax returns. Other businesses, such as Turbo Tax, do not compare. I have personally found that the automated online websites do not always account for a "maximum refund." Mike knows the "ins and outs" when it comes to filing tax returns. I highly recommend giving Cain and Company a call.

I highly recommend Doug Noonan to anyone who is looking for someone to do their taxes. Prior to…read moreseeing Doug I went into an H&R Block and was told it would cost me $450 to do my taxes and that I would owe thousands of dollars in taxes. I went to see Doug who was shocked by what H&R Block said they would charge me. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! I do have different tax forms than the typical person so it was a relief that he knew exactly what the forms were and he assured me I would not owe as much as H&R Block told me. He found me tons if write-offs, which was awesome, and I ended up owing 1/4th of what H&R Block told me I would owe. I went in to pick up my taxes and it was so easy and absolutely affordable. I would highly recommend Doug to anyone looking for someone knowledgeable to do their taxes!!

Do NOT trust this business with your taxes…read more They promised that if all documents were submitted by February 27th, my taxes would be completed by April 15th. That did not happen. Despite multiple phone calls and emails to check on the status, I was repeatedly told they were "working on it." Then, just three days before the deadline, they sent an email on a Saturday--after I had clearly stated I would be working a 12-hour shift and not checking email--telling me I needed to file an extension. In 40 years of filing taxes, I have never had to file an extension. They also requested additional documentation that, after confirming with my retired accountant, was unnecessary because we did not qualify based on income. It took significant time and effort to gather this information, which ultimately wasn't even needed. On top of that, they lost several documents I had already submitted and required me to resend them. Finally, when I followed up persistently--because I needed my taxes completed before an upcoming trip--and expressed frustration with the situation, they labeled me as "hostile" and refused to complete my taxes. This experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and incredibly frustrating.
