The only issue I have with this office is their policy of cancelling your app't. if you miss their day before call to confirm by noon. I recently was in another appointment when they called and they cancelled. Lucky for me they had not filled my app't. Overall I am very pleased with Wilkes Dental.

Dr Schit is the one to watch for if he's still being able to practice because he is very rough and rushing through as if he gets paid by the number of patients he sees. I severely have PTSD because of him and now I can't find a dentist at all. I shouldn't be made to suffer because of one lousy dentist not treating people like they should be treated. I wish I could stick that big ass needle in his gums and act like it's a joystick on a video game!!! I went there and my wait time in the waiting room was no more than 20 minutes in fact I didn't have all my papers filled yet when they called me to go to exam room. They asked all the right questions and come up with a plan according to my symptoms. They did CT scan, blood work, X-rays, and ultra sound for possible blood clots in my legs, along with a breathing treatment for my COPD. With everything they had done I was offered to stay the night or go home. I chose home but in all I was there about 4 hours. YRMC made me sit in waiting room 4.5 hours and I was never taken to exam room I got up and walked out.

It is well staffed compared to other local pharmacies. They seem well stocked and I do not see empty places on their shelves. However, my experience here has been less than desirable. When doses of compounded drugs were questioned, they became uncooperative and seemed like they no longer wanted our orders. I am currently not sure the outcome of this particular visit. The others have been less than promising.
