It doesn't taste anything like the real thing. But it's nice in its own way. The pork strips was nice, the pork patty was strange and the pork chop part was a soy based patty which I've eaten at plenty of other places. There was also this egg which wasn't a real egg,I liked this! The outer white part of the egg was Crispy,it's like a wanton egg My mum had the hainan chicken which was not like the real thing and was fried. It was a little burnt and hard to eat The missus had this rice dish, not much taste to it but still ok. Prices are resasonable, food came out at reasonable rate It looks like what you order is how you will enjoy your experience here

This will definitely curb your meat cravings! Can you believe that this wasn't even the biggest burger on the menu?! Got us drooling thinking about this! What an amazing atmosphere!! Available as a pop up on Fridays and Sundays, this diner takes you back as if your right in America. The staff were super friendly and attentive and we didn't have to wait long for the food at all! The cheesy fries and the heart attack fries are a must get as sides and don't forget the dawgs - a steamed dog topped with bacon and melted cheese!

Modern, comfortable, clean and well presented. Most, if not every drink, is on tap. Beer, wine, cocktails. Just one pull of a lever and BOOM there is the cocktail you're ordered. Their burgers are master pieces of beef and bun, with three different styles of bun to choose from, including a potato bun. On their dining boards you'll be presented with your burger, fries, sauces, and a slice of pickle which looks like a murder victim which has been thrown out of little car. The only issue I had here was deciding what to order, you know you've found something good when everything on the menu sounds great. The food didn't take long to reach us and the staff where very polite.

Whatever you feel like, is sure or at least very close to be on the menu ....... but individual meals or buy as a combo with up sizes or ad-one. Their char grilled chicken burgers and special Dougie's sauce has everyone coming back for more, so it's easy to say while we might not be able to miss the fire-engine walls, we sure do miss those burgers every time we part a bittersweet farewell from the shop. Prices are relatively cheap ( it's no Macca's or Hungry Jacks, it's fellow competitors around Hurstville) but you can snag a decent meal for under $10 including a burger, chips and drink. But what makes Dougie's so special is its special Dougie's sauce that we just can't get enough of. On your chips, with your chicken or in your burger, it is crucial that you order that sauce with your meal next time you stop by and I'm saying 'next' because I'm certain that once you've been there, you'll be running back for more.

Mister Gee Burger Truck - Truffle burgers x 4 with dirty fries

Mister Gee confirms their location, opening time, and the one burger they'll serve for the week, sporadically on their Facebook page, and are only open Thursday to Saturday (for now). I have had the good fortune of tasting their Truffle burger yesterday, and it is one of my top beef burgers. With meunster cheese, rocket, drizzled with truffle mayo - This burger definitely knows how to look after you. Their chicken burger on the other hand, was tasty but forgettable - don't get me wrong though, it was still very good. Order up with the dirty fries and you're set to be satisfied.

Let's put something fatty and heavy...on something else that's fatty and heavy but super sweet which overpowers the burger. Anyways if you like brioche bun burgers more power to you...but I hate them. That being said, Mister Gee's burgers work well with their buns and don't overwhelm the burger itself, so good on them for that. By the way if you didn't know, Mister Gee's only showcases one burger each week out of their 4 burgers: The Truffe, Fatboy, Cheese Boogie, and Chicken. Rocked up on a Thursday and the line was already 30 deep around 645pm, so the wait was roughly half an hour. Not a fan of queues, but they're there for a reason. This week was the Truffe Burger, and I naturally had to order a double. This burger is supposedly the favourite one among the staff, so I had expectations but I tempered them too. The dirty fries were also on showcase, so had to order those as well. The dirty fries were decent, but whoever made them didn't salt them properly as the salt was distributed unevenly....mega salty in the middle and barely salted on the edges. Not sure I'd order these again unless they fixed that up. The Truffe was pretty good...I wasn't expecting it to be, but I had no qualms with this burger, especially at $13 for a double. The truffle oil with the mayo and cheese went well with the grass fed Tasmanian beef patty. Did I enjoy this burger more than the Bronx at Five Points? Yes I did...I'm definitely keen to try the Cheese Boogie and Fat Boy now. My only gripe (besides the fries) is that this place isn't the most accessible if you live by the CBD, but if you live by inner west you should by all means go.
