Hummus

The most flavorful, delicious mediterranean food! The variety on the menu and flavor combos are unmatched. Highly recommend any of their plates with a side of hummus and pita- so good! We did wait a bit for our food to be prepared, but good things take time and that's how you know it's fresh! Don't let the area or curb appeal fool you, this place is a must eat!!

I am starting this review by disclosing a Mediterranean food I hate. I hate lentils! I detest the nasty little tick shaped peas, cooked in any recipe. Goat food. Nothing, not even bacon can redeem the disgusting flavorless legume. Well maybe........ This is the old Eureka Pizza building, repainted, repurposed, and revived to another life. Now serving Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine. The dining area inside is a comfortable size, room enough to handle a lunch time rush, with plenty of tables. Order at the counter, pay at the counter, pick your food up at the counter. They have a drive through window that probably accounts for most of their business. Nothing fancy. Adequate service. The food is incredible. We ordered a Chicken Kabab Platter (w/ Rice, Salad, Baba Ghanoush, and Grilled Tomatoes, Onion and a slice of Jalapeno.) Also, a Falafel Platter (w/ Hummus, Tahini Sauce and Pita Bread.) Both meals recommended. The lady behind the counter set the drinks out; then gave a shout to pick them up. A few minutes later she set two small cups on the counter, then looking directly at me, said "here is a sample of our lintel soup." This was unexpected. I sure as hell didn't order any and I didn't want any sample of lentil soup. Being pleasant though, I obligingly rambled to the counter; at the same time thinking, "You just wasted a little cup by pouring me a sample." A lady sitting at one of the nearby tables, must have noticed my lack of enthusiasm to retrieve the soup sample. As I walked back to the table, in support of the lowly lentil, she offered, "You will love the soup." Well, it was good, and different tasting than any lentil anything, I have ever had. The little tick shaped peas carcasses were pureed to invisibility. The soup was bright yellow, with a consistency thicker than broth. Almost creamy. A mellow curry and dominant chicken flavor. Just like everything else at Nara Chicken it was wonderful. I can eat this. Recommended. This was such a shock. It set the expectations for the meal. My wife and I were not disappointed. Delivered next to the counter, was the best, most flavorful Mediterranean food I have ever had. Opening the food container at the table released the appealing aromas. The Chicken Kabab perfectly cooked, encrusted with Mediterranean spices. The Baba Ghanoush was perfection. You could taste both the egg plant and the light smokey background flavor. Crispy Falafels. Creamy smooth, savory Hummus. Rice with a hint of cardamon. Nothing disappointing. Enormous flavor. If Nara Chicken can make disgusting lentils delicious, then you can imagine what deliciousness they can deliver when starting with something good.

Food was good as always but it took 45 min for 3 orders! They only had 2 workers and there wasn't any customers inside.

The building, view of the front door and the drive through.

Had to check this place out since it's Palestinian owned. I have never been the biggest fan of mediterranean food, but I tried the Nara Chicken Burrito, and it was probably the most delicious burrito I've ever eaten. It reminded me of the savory flavor of butter chicken, with the toasted tortilla, it was simply divine. Watched them put it all together and grill it just beyond the counter, fast and friendly service. I will absolutely be back.

The food was wonderful. Falafel, chicken and lamb kabobs were perfectly cooked (cooked fresh), sides were also great! We got to try some new food and enjoyed all of it. We also got to try a special juice drink, he said it was made of all kinds of fruit, our kids said it was better than soda and drank it up! The restaurant itself isn't anything fancy but we weren't looking for that anyhow. The service was great, so hospitable. It really felt like the gentleman behind the counter cared and was excited to have people there ready to try new things:) would definitely return if ever in Ft Smith again! Thank you for sharing a little bit of your home with us. God Bless

New Mediterranean chicken cuisine restaurant here on Grand Ave in fort smith ar. Tried them for the 1st time yesterday had the chicken over rice. Can say amazing flavor!! Back to today to try chicken kabob plate. Great service. This place also amazing aroma of great food

Mix Grill plate and Hummus.

We've been meaning to give this place a try especially since it's within short driving distance of home. Both the outside & inside are aesthetically pleasing but the food is MOST definitely what you come for. We got the Nara Burger, the Mix Grill plate and a side of hummus, which comes with pita. The Mix Grill took a minute to make but both it & the burger were absolutely fantastic and this will definitely become one of our regular spots. The two guys behind the counter were friendly and checked on us several times.

Forgot to get a before picture!

We were looking for something different and Nara didn't disappoint. Tried the lamb/chicken/kofta with rice, salad and baba ganoush. Also shared lentil soup and falafel. And we took home enough for lunch tomorrow for one of us. Super nice people. If you like Mediterranean you need to go.

The twisted feta is a tasty dip served with warm pitas. Ask for two pitas if sharing the dip. We had their two available soups and really enjoyed every bite. The food is refreshing, light. Service was nice as well. If you aren't sure whether Mediterranean food is for you, take the leap. I bet you will.

Additionally, I've been to Greece and am quite familiar with authentic Greek cuisine. Now with all this in mind my wife and I had lunch at GOAT today with about 12 of our friends. It was my wife and I's first time here and some in our group had been there at least once. I ordered the gyro (lamb & beef) with pita bread and for $2.00 more added fries. The gyro was massive and oozed with an extremely generous portion of protein and veggies. My first bite honestly woke my taste buds ! It immediately brought back memories of my time in Greece. The fries were done to perfection - crispy on the outside and were perfect. The only thing missing was a view of the Mediterranean. My wife had their Greek salad and while she enjoyed it she said it ranked 3rd best in her top 3 salads, behind her own and one other place. If the Greek salad ranked higher for my wife I would have given 5 stars but I decided that awarding 4 stars would still be a good score but also consider her personal taste. The place is really nice inside. Great atmosphere, a lot bigger than I expected as I saw it from outside. Great decor and staff. Beautiful bar area with a huge list of adult beverages. The staff was very helpful eager to help in anyway. I honest recommend this place. We will be back again, for sure. https://the-goat-4.wheree.com/menu

This restaurant is a bit of a staple to Dickson Street in Fayetteville and is one of the few places…read morewhere you can sit down to a white tablecloth brunch and have choices like different types of eggs Benedict. Everything at our table was well executed, and they had a fantastic selection of light brunch cocktails. IMHO, one thing keeps this from being a top notch dining experience, primarily that they are consistently unaccommodating to any modification request. Perfect example on this day - one diner ordered eggs over medium, bacon, and toast and since it wasn't on the menu as a specific plate offering, it was delivered on 3 small side plates, making it difficult to eat. Another diner asked for eggs cooked medium on a Benedict rather than the soft poached eggs, and the server reluctantly said that the kitchen would undoubtedly not accommodate that change. We're not talking about some goofy request like "can I have the onion soup but hold the onions", or some high-end chef selecting every component of a dish and you want it with fries and ranch. They are cooking eggs to order for everyone, but won't sub out what they cooked for another person at this same table in something that has to be assembled immediately before serving anyway. It's just goofy. Oh - and for the love of all things middle eastern, please don't call the side tabbouleh! It in no way resembles the specific recipe for parsley salad with bulgar wheat - it's a romaine based salad. Just call it what it is.
