I love the concept of this beauty bar...walk in, walk out, no appointment necessary but you can…read moremake one if you want. If you need an urgent blow dry, manicure or any other beauty emergency, this is the place to go. The place is an open salon within the Grace Hotel, so a passerby will be able to see you getting some of the treatments, but this is reflected in the price, which is quite cheap for Sydney CBD. I was having a crappy day so I came here on my lunch-break for a quick manicure. And it was nice little distraction for my mind. I'm yet to try the other services available but I get the impression that this place is a no-nonsense beauty bar, excellent for last-minute beauty needs. For example a no-wash blow dry is $15-30, which is really cheap! Excellent alternative to a day spa or beautician.

I have to say I am extremely upset with myself for falling for this new internet gimmick. The set-up is pathetic, shabby and unprofessional. You were running 10 minutes late. I thought the whole point was quick for the 'time deprived professional'? Then you have the gall to charge $60 for the crappiest threading I've ever had. And I've had many... The whole drawing on my face telling me what I already know to cover for the fact you know they won't look good, was shameless. I've paid less than $60 for a proper professional, nice room and actually someone who greeted me on arrival. Your on-line / iPad system is a gimmick, plain and simple. The fact you won't even take bookings over the phone is ridiculous. This sham will not last and I will be sharing my experience with everyone I know.

Absolutely terrible! Was quoted a price for tattooing my eyebrows and eyeliner during the initial…read moreconsultation. Then, DURING the procedure the lady kept on adding more money here and there due to bogus reasons such as "oh I didn't know you wanted winged eyeliner, that's an extra $X amount" (even though we spoke of this during the consultation) and "I didn't know you wanted your eyebrows so thick, that will be another extra $X amount", etc. I had to say yes at that stage as I was literally held hostage on the operating bed. In the end, I paid $2,500 for the whole thing; she initially quoted about $1,000 less. I have since met other women who've had the same procedure done at other places and only paid about $800. What's worse, her technique is not up to scratch and the colour starting falling off unevenly after only a few months. I have to fill in the empty spots every morning, which quite frankly, takes even longer than drawing on entire eyebrows. The women who had theirs done at other places had their tattoos last much longer than mine and their fading was even (as it should be). Do NOT go to her unless you want a botched job and a much lighter wallet. I really, really regret going to her and sincerely hope that this greedy and unprofessional woman doesn't rip other people off in the future. You only have one face - don't let her ruin it! If I could give her 0 stars, I would

After 3 sessions totalling more than 6 hours all within a 6 month period (and an argument where I refused to pay an additional $400), I am still not happy with the results. She is painfully slow and made obvious errors that resulted in uneven brows. Her assistant who answers the phone knows nothing about the industry or her services and it took several phone calls and a lot of brutal small talk to book a single appointment. Jameson may have been the best option several years ago but now there are better, cheaper brow artists available across Sydney.
