Service at the restaurant at dinner was off but much better at breakfast. While we loved our stay, this would be a tough place for someone with mobility concerns. Most of the rooms involve a lot of stairs to get to as they are built into a hill.

The towels are so soft and plentiful, extra pillows and a blanket supplied were nicer than my own linens at home, certainly not just the extras. They supply cozy and comfy robes, a duraflame log for the fireplace upon request, and a sweet turn down service with stamped cookies that shout "welcome home." We enjoyed the walkability to visit art galleries and boutiques in St. Helena. We attended brunch at Mustard and Dinner reservation at Charter Oak. *Yum*!! After a long day of wine tasting, the restaurant next door/attached has delicious wood fired pizzas which we could not pass up! The drinks at the bar were generous and was a nice switch up from wine (although they have wine too, of course!) while we watched the sports game that was on. We dropped off our Continental breakfast selections which are delivered straight to your room the next morning. We felt so pampered, eating breakfast in the comfort of our own room in our robes and slippers. The mini fridge allowed us to save extras we might want to snack on later. The Illy espresso machine made it so we could enjoy espresso throughout the day and even a decaf shot at night. The pastries served are on another level and pretty much awards them the best Continental breakfast we've ever had!! We were sad we didn't get to take advantage of the health spa privileges, but it felt very nice to know we could have enjoyed the spa and sauna should we have chosen to. They give you a complimentary tasting at Merryvale across the parking lot which is an exceptional value since to reserve online was $60/person. Their wines are fantastic and the people are just as great! Our trip to Napa Valley was superb thanks to the staff and grounds at Southbridge. Decided to hop on an app that shows me last minute hotel deals and saw Southbridge at the top of the list. Since we had a babysitter and the room rates were great, we decided to book our last minute stay. Just right across the street from Gotts and next door to Charter Oak, there was plenty of parking in the back. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and to our surprise, we were given Room 8 which was a big room that had a balcony that faced the street. Highlights - beds and pillows were comfortable, water pressure in the shower was probably the best I've experienced in a while. A quick little walk over to the next building over and as hotel guests, you have full access to all of the amenities at Health Spa Napa Valley (heated lap pool, hot tub, full gym, steam room). This was super nice to just unwind and relax after a day of over indulging. You can also place a light breakfast order to be delivered to your room at your selected time; boiled eggs, croissant, fruit, coffee, etc. Something to be aware of; the hotel is situation right off of the main road Hwy28 so if you're a light sleeper, you will hear cars, trucks and motorcycles all times of the day and night. Model bakery is located across the street and the hotel provides some breakfast items from there as well. This is a gem in St. Helena. I would stay here again and highly recommend it for others.

What a treat. Friendly service here and timely response to requests. The rooms are cozy, spacious, and well-maintained. The heat/AC works well. Most importantly, the beds are excellent and the pillows are nice. I'm always surprised how many hotels miss these points that you'd think would be essential. The fitness center is a good one, with treadmills, pull-up bars, TRX bands, a bench, and dumbbells up to 75 lbs. Can't wait to return.

She checked us in, gave us the lay of the land, gave us our keys along with dinner and winery recommendations and we were on our way. We had an EPIC valentines dinner at St Helena's #1 restaurant on Yelp (Goose and Gander) which was practically next door to our hotel. It was our first time in Napa and we were under prepared/organized. Taxi rides were $40 to the Castle winery 10 minutes away. And $40 back. Unless u like to drink and drive. Get a driver or limo or be a part of a tour. Or just plan on staying in St Helena and walk everywhere. There's plenty to see/eat/drink within walking distance to this hotel. Enjoy

I was a bit in a panic because the driver I had set up several months prior cancelled on me. I called around and several companies were already booked. Paul's company was booked the Saturday, but available on Sunday. He went above and beyond and began to reach out to other companies for me and secured someone for me for Saturday. I didn't have to work with two different companies, all communications remained through him and pricing remained the same. Our two drivers (Burt & Steve) were on time, professional and super friendly. They had fantastic vehicles that were clean and more than comfortable. My friends and I had an amazing time this weekend and Paul's team made it even more special. I truly can't say how much I appreciated the level of service we received from beginning to end.
