The window tinting on my 2013 KIA Soul was starting to get wrinkles, air bubbles especially around…read morethe rear window defrosters, slippage on the passenger window. The car is paid for now, so it was high time to remove and replace all the window tinting. I did a little online research as to what tinting was all about, then went looking at some shops in the Beaumont area. Well, after seeing some shabby and dismal shops I walked into Classic Tint and knew right away that here was the shop for me: the customer service office smelled clean and fresh because it WAS cleaned, dusted, well lighted and roomy. The neat and clean appearance told me that somebody is very proud of this family-owned business. The owner (whose name I never did get-my bad) gave educated me on what work Classic Tint does to a car. For the remove-and-replace service, they need to have the vehicle for one entire day with a promise to have it ready by 5pm. I asked if 6 years was a typical service life for tinted windows? Then I learned a little something about the tinted windows delivered on new cars: new car tinting is not factory-installed! The dealer takes the new cars to a tinting shop, has it done probably on the cheap then brings the car back to the dealer. So much for factory-installed window tint! OK OK, I was sold...we agreed on a price which was consistent with other quotes I'd seen, scheduled a day to bring in the car and it was a done deal. That was on January 8, 2019. Classic Tint phoned later in the day at precisely 4:30pm: my car was ready. When I first saw the car I was immediately dazzled by the "new shades" on the Soul and told told the technicians. They even replaced the old clunky bubbly rear window defroster with a new sleek defroster with nearly invisible lines. I have waited 2 months now to write a Yelp review because I wanted to let the tinting get some weathering before I raved about Classic Tint. Not to worry because the windows look like they did when I drove out of the shop. And the defroster works
