And it's funny because there are signs posted to be kind and patient with them because they're overworked or whatever and doing their best but that is laughable. Dr Chaney is amazing! I've been a patient for over 3 years and have never had a problem. Her office staff is very kind and knowledgeable. Her office is so efficient, you get everything in your had before you walk out....I mean what other office does that? I have seen some bad behavior at her office from time to time, but it's not the staff it's badly behaved people who don't like what they are hearing so the yell and throw temper tantrums like toddlers. Showed up 20 min prior to my 10a appt. Was told that I couldn't be seen since I was not 30 minutes early. Nowhere did it say that if I was not 30 minutes early then I would need to find a new PCP, which is what I was informed of by the whoever works the front desk. A lady who was quite older and severely lacked customer service. I wish I had read these reviews before choosing Dr. Chaney as my PCP. I definitely wouldn't have chosen this provider, terrible first experience. My advice: go elsewhere and don't waste your time. If I could give this Doctor's office zero stars I would. We showed up to our appointment, filled out 20 pages of paperwork just to later be told, "The Doctor is having car issues and can't seem to get an Uber." Who can't get an Uber in Las Vegas? It was Christmas Eve, the doctors office had plenty of time to reschedule the appointment but instead we get that excuse. Reading through all the reviews, 1/2 seem to be about the rude office staff and the other 1/2 seem to be about the Dr. cancelling or not showing up to work. People need healthcare and for an office to run so inefficiently with a 'we don't really care' attitude is horrible. If this was a one time incident with my family members I wouldn't be writing this review, however, this is the 3rd incident in the past five months of last minute cancellation/not showing up. I like Dr. Chaney- She is very kind and thorough. Her front office staff is the worst. They are not doing her any favors and in fact are they are to her detriment. I called and cancelled my appointment and I guess I incurred a $50 late cancellation fee. I have now been discharged from the practice for Non payment. Apparently, they sent me letters which I never received , but no phone call, email or text message nor did they say anything when I made my appointment over the phone back in February for this coming week (March). I offered to pay, but they said I am still discharged and I need to find a new doctor. I have experienced these ladies being rude many times but always let it go because I like Dr. Chaney and the nice nurse that does blood work. Poop recommendations for this doctors office. They know nothing about customer service. The sign says don't knock on the window just sign the paper. I got lost on the way to the office. I called to help get directions. The lady said your third in line and then put me on hold. No greeting or please and thank you. This is only a review for the front desk receptionist and not for the Dr herself. Dr Naomi Chaney has been the doctor for me and my family for the past 7-8 years. I have always had good experience with her and her staffs at the front until today. I had an appointment at 4pm , left work at 3 for the appointment but traffic was bad due to a fatal accident. I finally got to the office at 430pm. I was told by the receptionist that I won't be seen. Now I tried to convince them to see me of course since I left work early and drove in traffic for 1.5 hours to get here. But the receptionist was rude and has zero skill for customer service. Her tone of voice is confrontational and her facial expression was impatient by me asking questions. I asked can you please ask dr Chaney if she could an exception. The receptionist said sarcastically ok let me pull the doctor from the patient she is seeing and come talk to you. How rude and unprofessional. I asked if I could have her name , she said WHY again in a rude voice. In a town full of customer service professionals , this is by far the worse experience I have had. I don't know what these people are talking about. I have been a patient of Dr Chaney's for many many years and the staff she has now is bar none the BEST staff she has ever had! She has such a small office, but they manage to do so much its amazing. The staff are so efficient and and knowledgeable, they always smile and greet me kindly. Dr. Chaney herself is BRILLIANT!!!!! Plan to wait over an hour for them to call you into a room. Then once you're in the room, you wait another 20mins. The staff is very rude. The phlebotomist is ALWAYS on lunch, never available. The dr puts wrong blood work orders in the system. This place is a complete JOKE read more

A week ago today I tried to make an appointment and I was told by her awful staff to find a new doctor, I asked why and was told because I haven't seen her in three years, well that was because one of those three years my insurance changed to one Dr. Chaney didn't take and the other two years I moved out of state and recently moved back and made sure I picked an insurance that she would take. Rude staff! I came to my appointment 15 minutes early greeted by rude staff saying I was late!!! Apparently new patients have to come 30 minutes early and since I didn't come as early as 30 minutes that I cannot see the doctor. Moreover, I cannot even reschedule and was told to find another doctor. Update. My wife called to make an appointment with this same Dr. and after five years they told her she couldn't make an appointment because she cancelled previously???? Clearly this is either a lie or the most strict policy ever regarding healthcare. No one ever cancels? And she didn't even cancel in the first place as the front desk did so!! I suspect they put notes on her record which is even more disturbing. This makes no sense. Other than the review I made about bad customer service there was no other interactions with this Dr's staff. I waited 2 months for an initial appointment, just for them to cancel it because I was only 15 minutes EARLY instead of the 30 minutes they asked for. No phone call day of, no warning, no sympathy. Today was my first appointment to start up with my "new" primary care doctor that I was looking forward to meeting and getting established with since my former doctor left the state last year. I made this appointment approximately two months ago over the phone and at that time I provided my health insurance card information and all of my contact information that was pertinent to get established. I was told my appointment was for 9am this morning with a text message verifying that time just yesterday so I felt assured there would be no problem since I arrived 8:55am. I was abruptly told I was almost 30 minutes late because i was "expected" to arrive at 8:30am to fill out paperwork, this was NOT told to me a few months ago and the text reminders all said my appointment time was 9am. The other lady in the background rudely chimed in to say I was to be "blocked" in the computer for my tardiness and for the incorrect fact they were never able to verify my insurance information ? What?? They had my card information for TWO MONTHS and IF there was any problem which there was not I verfied, they could have picked up what is called a TELEPHONE and tell me?! I was so upset by their awful and super unprofessionaly attitude that I told them they were ridiculous and just plain wrong and promised I would NEVER be interested in making another appointment. I wonder if the actual doctor is aware of her staff or maybe she knows exactly what is going on. Dr. Chaney has been my primary doctor for over 4 years now. Dr. Chaney is always patient and kind during our visits. She makes sure that I get checked out for all my medical issues and refers me to great specialists when needed. She also recommends, when she can, more holistic options rather than prescribing medication. She does have a wait if you see her late morning or late afternoon. If you can, for all your doctor's appointments, get the first-morning appointment or the first appointment after lunch. read more

New to town Dr.Chaney was referred to me - I scheduled my appointment and got COVID so I had to wait - I then got into a appointment only to wait 45 minutes to be seen - she gave me a list of 4 more apply to attend with other doctors - I completed the list to attend my next follow up - I again waited 45 minutes- her front desk receptionist needs a class in Manners - the Doctors office is only interested in billing your insurance and making you wait - I was never treated with any kind of customer service - i actually was bitched out by the front desk for not being able to take the offered appointment- this was the very Worst experience ever ! read more

Absolutely unprofessional office staff. Very Rude. Long wait times. And never call back when leaving messages. My father was suppose to be scheduled for surgery and his office staff never sent over his clearance paperwork. So the surgery continues to be postponed. No care for there patients. Very sad. Front desk staff horrible communication skills. I called th day before inquiring about getting blood work . Was told I could come by at 8 AM. When I got there there was a note on the door that the office wouldn't be opened until 1230 pm. I went back at 1230 ,twi​ce I drove there from the other side of town and now they tell me I can't get blood work because Dr Chaney isn't there to write the order . So I had been fasting since 8 pm the night prior and now it's almost 1 pm . They did not put that info on the note on the office door so now my one day off has been wasted along with my gas . I like Dr Chaney but every time I go I have to wait almost an hour to be seen . When I called about coming in for labs they knew that the Dr wouldn't be in but never told me . My first visit ever. So far everything seems to be just fine the place is well decorated it's obvious it woman that cares about her practice is in control of the decorations. The beginning there's no paperwork there's no annoying in the paper and on since it's only a tablet and it's a really simple. Only waited a little while I was advised to arrive half hour early and manage to get here 45 minutes early.  I advised to go to the back, and advised to wait in my well calmly decorated room.  I overheard a patient before me tell her that he has six things you want to talk about she didn't complain she said that's alright and close the door. So far all of the current complaints I put seen for her seem to be people who are not getting told what they want to hear or not getting the prescriptions they want. Being that I am in MGM Grand employee I have direct care insurance could be why I get a different treatment also. I was a bit nervous to have another woman since Dr Forte lack of feeling and care for her patients. Also her practice was run-down no care for technology basically it looked like her!  After a bit of a wait (45minutes) I raided the cabinets  out of boredom, but the reason for the long wait is she didn't have a nurse,  she was doing all (which I hope is all the time).  Naomi Chaney is so far the best I General Practitioner I have ever had! I would have chose 0 start!!!! The worst customer service ever!!!! They canceled my appointment first same day I was supposed to be treated, then I rescheduled with their desired day. Again, on my second rescheduled appointment, on the same day i was supposed to be treated, before 3hr, they canceled my appointmen again. Then I asked her if she can reschedule me with my own suitable day she says no. So, if I don't accept the day she offered which I will not be able to make it, then I have to reschedule for the third time after a month. What guarantee do I have for third time if they canceled it? Nothing. So, if you are a new patient, I would recommend you to schedule with another doctor. read more

This was my first visit to Dr. Chaney and I won't be back. Waited in the lobby for 40 minutes. I was worried about missing another appointment and asked how long it would take and the staff told me they couldn't give me any information. After letting them know that I had other appointments and would stay and monitor how long it took, the Dr. Came out and gave me a lecture about how she had patients to see and would not be rushed. When I arrived at the doctor today I sat in the waiting room for 15 minutes before I was acknowledged. I already had the sense that the staff was rude due to the a sign on the CLOSED reception window saying "Do not tap or knock on glass". Once they finally called me back, I sat in the exam room for 45 minutes with the doctor never coming in. I have gone to this doctor for almost 2 years and let me tell you it has not been a good experience. The schedule process is a nightmare. I'll describe it as a hit or miss because you are lucky if they pick the phone right away. You might have to wait for 30 or even 45 mins before they pick up the phone and they might even put you in hold for another 30 mins. Sometimes they even pick up the phone and hung up immediately and if you persist to call them again they will put you on the automatic answer machine list so you can only live a voice message. Also the office closes at 4:30pm but they stop taking phone calls at 2 so yeah there's that. If you manage to make an appointment, you have to deal with next issue. You have to be 15 mins before your appointment otherwise they tell you are late and have to make a new appointment because they keep you waiting a the front desk before a stuff notice you. They are rude and don't even know what costumer service or common kindness is. And when you check in, you have to wait up to 1 hour and a half before they tell you to come in one of the rooms where you can wait another 30 mins before talking to Dr Chaney. As for Dr Chaney, I'll describe her practice as a drive-thru because of the pace she consults her patients. The consult roughly last from 5 to 10 mins. She will ask for your symptoms and she will simply refer you to a specialist or order you to do some x rays and MRI. She won't even check your body at all, she will just try to guess what's wrong. One time she even google my symptoms right in front of me. Like what kind of doctor does that. The only reason that I went to that doctor is because the type of insurance that I have and because it's close to my house but I'll just find another doctor because I am done with this one. read more

The receptionist at this office was SO RUDE to my elderly parents- age 89 and 87. I would NOT recommend this office to anyone. My parents are new to Las Vegas and needed to establish a new doctor- my dad is a retired world-renowned doctor- an eye surgeon and knows the medical world very well. He has traveled all over the world- 70 different countries to be exact to perform highly complicated surgeries that gave people back their sight. Basically- he understands the demands and workings of a medical practice and the profession. --- They arrived to their 2 appointments 15 min ahead (for my moms appointment) and 45 min ahead for my dads. When they arrived the receptionist scolded them that they were to arrive 30 min early to fill out paperwork and that my mom would not be seen- and would never be offered a new appointment. My mom has Parkinson's- and it is advanced and she walks slowly with a walker- my dad asked for his appointment - which was in 45 min- to be given to my mother- so at least she could be seen- the receptionist refused and said that was not allowed. My mom had missed her chance and she would not give my dads spot to her. So defeated- they went and sat in the waiting room for 45 min- my mom did not get to go to her apt. My dad was taken back to be seen and waited 20 minutes to see the doctor. At 25 min of waiting- with my mom by herself in the waiting room- he was so appalled by the treatment up to this point- he was done. He needed to get my mom home. So he walked out to the waiting room, said goodbye and left with my mom. The receptionist never said a word and no one told my dad that the doctor was running late and would see him soon. Also- this was at 9 am in the morning- so for a doctor and staff to already be running 30 min behind schedule- after being SO RUDE to my parents for being "late" is totally unprofessional. So disappointed in this office and how this staff and doctor run this office. Definitely do not Recommend. read more
