This studio has one…read morevery small room (apparently they just opened another studio called "The Annex" which is bigger) which I can imagine is terriblely crowded with a full class (we only had about 8 people). I really liked most of the flow, the instructor was challenging and there was one pose thrown in I had never done before. The big downside was that I didn't get the accepting feel I usually get from yoga classes, ones that encouage you to "listen to your body" and "take child's pose whenever you need it." This environment felt very competitive and more like a yoga boot camp than a yoga class. I got the impression that the instructor was more concerned about toning than relaxation. If I went back to Nantucket, I would continue to do classes by myself on the beach rather than coming here.
