We just got back from our trip to ACK and I have to say working with Amanda from Nantucket Baby made it so easy. First, she was SUPER responsive. I emailed one of her competitors, and they were not timely getting back to me. Anytime I emailed Amanda, even on crazy days when they had turnover of guests, she at least sent me a quick note to acknowledge my email and then would respond in detail later on. We rented all our kid/baby equipment from her and we were not disappointed, or rather, the kids weren't! There were 2 bins of toys, one for two 3-year-olds (boy and girl) and one for my 15-month-old son. The array of toys was perfect! Lots of trucks, books, coloring books and crayons, and even a pair of Frozen shoes that my daughter went gaga over! Plus a baby doll and stroller, as well as action figurines and "old school" toys like stacking rings and a toy phone (the rotary kind!). We also rented a potty seat, water table, crib, bed rails, high chair, booster seats, and sound sleep machines. She was also able to supply us, last-minute, with a balance bike and scooter, as well as a little push car. All 3 were a hit! Everything was clean and in great condition. The best part? IT WAS ALL THERE, SET UP AND READY TO GO WHEN WE ARRIVED. Perfection. We also used Amanda for grocery services - we just submitted our list and she provided all the items on the list, and we had a long and very specific list! Again, groceries were all put away in the fridge and the dry goods were on the counter for us. She also helped us book 2 sitters for 3 different occasions - and when one of them had to cancel at the last-minute due to a family emergency, Amanda came through with a fabulous replacement. Our kids loved both the sitters and we were very happy with their services as well. Amanda was also super helpful coming up with ideas on how to entertain our kids. She suggested beaches to go to, and the Maria Mitchell Association, as well as the Critter Cruise. Our kids LOVED the Critter Cruise! She was also helpful in offering restaurant suggestions. All in all, if you have to use anyone on the island for baby-related travel assistance, or even concierge services, I HIGHLY recommend Amanda. The next time we go back she will be the one I call! Just got back from 5 days on Nantucket with our 2 year old. Not knowing any better, I had originally planned on using a competitor as the competitor was recommended in an article I had read. However, after reading all the reviews on Yelp, decided to go with Nantucket Baby instead. SOOOO GLAD we did!!! Amanda was FANTASTIC. Incredibly responsive and so accommodating. We kept changing our order as we couldn't decide between bed rails, a toddler bed and a crib. Amanda took it all in stride and her response was always "Of course" and "No problem". Because my son has an egg allergy, we also ordered a few groceries from her so that we would have back up food in case we ran into some allergy unfriendly places. Everything was delivered to our hotel and in the fridge by the time we checked in. She made this vacation so easy for us. We will definitely be using her services again and I have already recommended her to my friends who will be traveling to Nantucket in August. read more

Just getting back from our weekend on Nantucket, with two babies in tow. Between coolers, pack n plays, suit cases and the dog, there wasn't much more room for a stroller or the necessary but awkward shaped bed rail! I sent Amanda a last minute, frantic message at about 10pm the night before we left and she was more than accommodating. "Of Course" "Absolutely" "My Pleasure" "What else can I help you with". All things her prompt response included. She got me everything I needed before we even got to our rental the following day. Amanda made packing up two kids and their dozens of necessary equipment so much less stressful. Moving forward, I can't wait to use Nantucket Baby first before even packing up the car with the bulky essentials. She has it all! On our way home, we just left everything at our rental house and her girls came and picked it up for us. Brilliant. Personable, accommodating customer service is a rarity and much appreciated. and the quality of the equipment, you would have thought she purchased them that morning for us. We used Nantucket Baby on our recent trip to Nantucket. Great experience! Amanda is wonderful to work with. I had serious "baby brain" when placing my order for a crib so had to email Amanda a few times with questions and because I screwed up my order (both length of stay and billing information). She was extremely quick getting back to me, super friendly and took care of everything on her end. Once we got to our house the crib was waiting for us in perfect condition. I had no idea what time pick up was on the day of our departure and my daughter fell asleep in it before I had a chance to ask. The staff showed up to pick it up, I explained that I had a sleeping baby and they graciously told me it was no problem whatsoever and they would be back later. This is the fourth year I have used Nantucket Baby. The first two years I just used Amanda's company for beach items (towels, chairs, etc) and was very pleased. The third year she actually reached out to me to offer grocery services after getting wind of a terrible experience I had with another company. Amanda is a ROCK STAR. She has more than exceeded expectations on both of the years I have used her grocery delivery service. She is organized, prompt, and able to manage complex and lengthy orders. I asked her to get fresh fish, which she did and it was outstanding, and also sent her to the liquor store, and to the grocery store on three different occasions during our 10 day stay. Because we had a relatively large number of people staying with us with various dietary issues (peanut allergies, vegan diet, gluten intolerance) and also because there was a birthday in the midst of the week, my lists kept evolving. Amanda did an outstanding job of finding specific brands and also items that met all of the complex criteria I had to deal with. She was patient and good-humored throughout and MADE my stay by not adding one ounce of extra worry or tension to the vacation. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Amanda. We will be back!! read more
