We had a third adult with us, and I think he was $12 for nine holes. Carts were $14 each. Staff super friendly and helpful. We just showed up w/o a tee time, I've not noticed any crowding here. Its as laid back as it gets, which I like. Lots of locals play here. Great beginner course. As far as play, well, lets say its a good course if you're not expecting much. I thought it was somewhat challenging. There are a couple holes with water hazards. The greens are just mowed down weeds. The bunkers have long since surrendered their sand to the island and are just depressions. The jungle will swallow your balls, but you're just as likely to find some too. The fairways were ok. Lots of birds, pleasant Hawaiian breezes and flowers. We actually look forward to playing here when we stay at the hilton.

Why 3 stars? Unfortunately the course is in ok shape except for the greens. I would say they are borderline unplayable. But, that still didn't stop me from making a few one putts!!!!!!! Really sad about the greens. In one of the holes is not even technically a green but mowed down fairway with a huge hole in the center. Look, this is a great place to practice and would make a great senior course. Just don't expect to putt or if you do, 2 putt max should be the rule. I still go and enjoy myself - you will too if you know what to expect. Great course for beginners!!!!!

Regular green fee $101.00 tee time at 8:30am. Green fees have dropped as of today August 20th. I thought I was a good deal shopper too. Not this time. Golfing - many undulating holes. But what was the worst was wind gusts up to 25 miles. For this reason alone I'd reconsider ever returning. The twosome ahead of us kept dropping 2-3 balls each hole. What's up with that? We still finished under 4 hours even with those two players ahead of us. At hole 18 there were some aggressive ducks. People shouldn't feed them. Average experience due to the wind.
