That's not a menu, that's a United Nations meeting. I was fully expecting confusion, chaos, and at least one bad life decision. I was wrong. This place is the real deal. Let's start with the sushi. I ordered the Monster Roll, and honestly, I'd order it again tomorrow without hesitation. Fresh, creative, and actually balanced. Not one of those rolls drowning in sauce trying to cover up a bad situation. This one shows up, does its job, and leaves you thinking about it later. Then came the Chicken Panang Curry. First bite? Lights out. Like, pause mid-conversation and reevaluate your expectations kind of good. Rich, creamy, just the right kick. Now, did every bite hit that same peak? Not quite. It settled into just "really, really good" instead of "life-changing," which is still a win. If I had one gripe, the chicken leaned a little overcooked. But the vegetables were perfect and that sauce absolutely carried the dish. Now the atmosphere... this is where things take a turn. It feels like a sports bar that decided one day it wanted to travel the world. TVs going, energy up, and somehow you're sitting there eating curry and sushi like this is completely normal. It shouldn't work. But it does. And shoutout to my server, Woody. At least that's what the receipt says, and I'm rolling with it. She was fun, efficient, and locked in the whole time. I came in expecting a mess. I left planning my next order. Five stars.

Consistently some of the better Thai in the area. The spring rolls are tasty and nice sized. I…read morelike the hoisin sauce but it also comes with a honey mustard dipping sauce which is unique. These rolls were one of my favorite parts of my whole meal. I would order them every single time. I appreciate the freshness of each of the dishes. The vegetables are just over el dente. So much flavor in every single bite! The chicken larb was well seasoned. It came out on lettuce instead of the menu mentioned cabbage but it made it more of a salad. I didn't mind because it tasted wonderful. The spice level here is to be respected. I went with a 3 on all of my dishes and it was plenty hot. The server also brought us a spice tray which had 3 different items to choose from. I added some of the Thai chili sauce with fish oil. Deep and funky it adds another layer to an already delicious dish. Service was friendly. This place gets busy and food sometimes comes out a little slow. Be patient and respect the process. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I got the drunken noodles and added spice with the spice rack provided upon request. My wife got the chicken fried rice. Hers came out first, so when mine came out I forgot to take the picture. Had a craving for Asian food on a late Sunday evening so decided to try this place. The place was…read moreslow with one other table with customers, We were greeted by our server and ordered promptly. We chose the Pad See Ew with pork and Basil Ground Pork and egg. The food came out piping hot and fresh. Both dishes were tasty and reasonably nice portions. The Pad See Ew did not have a lot of pork, however it was fresh and good flavor. I ordered medium spicy and it came out perfect. The Basil ground pork dish had a lot of green beans and not much of the basil flavor I expected but it was fresh and flavorful. I would probably hold the green beans next time but that's my preference. Overall, everything was very good and hit the spot. I would like to try some other dishes next visit. I would give it a strong 4.2 if I could rate in between 4 and 5. Also note our service was excellent and the server made numerous visits to check on us. Thanks

I have eaten at hundreds of Asian restaurants in my life. This was absolutely the worst- bar none…read more Here is the recipe: steam vegetables for a few minutes until they are not steamed at all. Drop them in a can of coconut milk. Pair it with the cheapest quality of rice on the market (Uncle Ben?). Call it Panang curry. I had to throw it away, and for me to throw away food it must be absolutely stomach-turning. The young lady at the register had a slight accent, and in order to do pleasant small talk I asked her where she was from, having an accent myself. I thought we may be from the same country. She said she could not reveal private information. That was absolutely weird, also considering that customers receipts, including their signatures and how much they tipped, are pasted by the register. An absolute and far more serious violation of customers' privacy. But, if we stick to the food only, it's an absolutely must avoid. Minus 10 stars. That bad and worse.

From a warm welcome at this easy to reach location, with wonderful decoration and ambience inside,…read moreto a quick introduction of the menu, and their welcoming statement that almost all dishes can be made, or are gluten-free, including the best sellers mentioned that are often picked, this restaurant clearly exists because they LOVE what they do. They have a very nice selection wine, beer and cocktails as well, and non alcoholic drinks including the famous Thai iced tea. At a perfect level of sweetness and great taste, easy to make, but often not done right. Here - perfect! We indulged in a variety of appetizers to share, the garden rolls (rice paper) which were ultra delicious, to the golden tofu (also gluten free) with an amazing taste, to satay which was perfectly cooked and had an incredible 'flavor bomb' taste, and an additional cucumber salad which tasted like it does straight back in Thailand. Amazing to hear our group talk about food and taste - a great way to start a meal with. For entrees we had the pad Thai, the drunken noodles, the cashew chicken and a panang curry. All amazingly tasty, with extremely different flavors. The portions were more than generous l, easy to take away a little food for the next day. Tip: try a side of the garlic fried rice. Amazing! And for dessert the option of sticky rice with mango is something you should try. Last, the staff was amazing throughout the evening. Happy to be there. Always present to check if we needed anything else. A place to talk about and for sure come back to when we visit the area again. In a town that can and is seasonally very touristy this is a GEM with great people, passion for Thai food and fantastic ambience next to incredible food!

To start with, I have eaten at many Thai restaurants, so will be comparing this those experiences. I understand that Hilton Head has incrementally higher pricing, but I found Thai Smile Cuisine's price to be above and beyond what you get in return. We started with the Crispy Calamari. The flavor was decent, but it wasn't really crispy. We then had 2 orders of Pad See Iew, Ka Prao, and Massaman Curry. The Pad See Iew, and Massaman Curry were way too sweet. The other flavors were decent to the palate, but the sugar just ruined the dishes. The best was the Ka Prao, as the sugar level wasn't overpowering. The staff was quite nice, and the ambiance was also quite decent. As someone that comes down to Hilton Head for a week, I am not sure if we would come back, pricey over-sugared food makes me think not.
