Busy Tuesday due to cheap deals at Cineworld nearby. Only a slight wait for a table to be cleaned - it looked as if most of the 'crumbs' left on the table got put onto the chair but 10/10 for enthusiasm. You had to take your order to the service bar and pay at the same time which did mean you could just get up and go when you were finished rather than hunt around for someone to pay. Piri Piri?! I've your've never been before you'll soon learn or get taught about the laid back feel at Nandos. Hands are allowed and encouraged as you get to grips with Portuguese and African inspired quising. You can choose the heat(spice)level of the marinade the dishes will be prepared in. They have a loyalty car where you can cluck up all sorts of rewards that increase per visit. This branch is relatively new and the great pre or post movie. The chicken here is not your standard KFC type meals they specialise in peri-peri meals, however they do offer mild options like lemon and herb. The soda fountain is unlimited unlike many other restaurants that seem to make all of their money off selling drinks. They also have an unlimited frozen yoghurt desert option that could make for a nice snack before a movie (even without the meal). Hot and spicy chicken, Portuguese style! Beware, if they say very hot they mean it. Half chicken mean is a feast. They also have unlimited drinks (non-alcoholic) and desert (frozen yoghurt if I remember correctly). An export from South Africa, truly worth a visit. read more

Great place to eat. Not too expensive and you don't have to get dressed up to eat in here. Car parking is available outside the door on Cardinal Park, although this can get very busy. Good food, reasonable prices. Fast and friendly service. Spices are available from very mild through to very hot! read more

Nandos is one of my favourite restaurants to eat at! I love the chicken,the olives and the great atmosphere! But sadly I had to try there takeaway service a few days ago and I was utterly disappointed. The chicken was dry and not what we ordered and to top it off we had to wait an extra 30minutes after the set time they had given. I will not be getting a takeaway agin from here. Will just have to stick at going into the restaurant. read more
