Nando's Crewe is located at Grand Junction Retail Park, around 3/4 of a mile from the Railway Station and 1/4 mile from the town centre, the store looks good and it feels modern with solar panels on the roof and a nice vibe with wooden walls and a large window, everything else was typical Nando's style, in terms of appearance this is one of my favourite Nando's locations as it is unique, cool and modern.
The staff seemed friendly enough and after checking in via their mobile QR code (New policy as of 2020 due to COVID-19), I was sat down and served right away, ordering via the app with the manager informing the kitchen that it was an allergy order so they could make necessary precautions.
My chicken was cooked well, it had really good flavours, I also enjoyed my chips which has a generous portion (the right amount) of the peri salt, the worst part of the meal was the fact they didn't have any black pepper which would have made the chips even better, as this is such a key staple to any restaurant it was a huge shock and disappointment. My other side, the coleslaw was fine, and it did seem to be a generous portion.
Nando's is a brand I like and this store shows why, while it does have its drawbacks such as availability of key staples and the fact they only seem to serve tap water in tiny glasses now (I had to keep asking for more), this is a rather nice location, and considering it is the only one in a good distance from this store, they're doing a good job. 4* read more
