The bag was still in good condition, but one of the leather shoulder strap attachments had broken and needed repairing so it could be used. The owner acknowledged the damage, and there were ongoing discussions about resolving it, but the matter was never resolved. Because of this, I filed a claim in Nassau County Small Claims Court. After reviewing the evidence, the court entered a judgment in my favor for the full value of the coat. Following the hearing, the owner approached me and attempted to hug me, which I found inappropriate and uncomfortable given the circumstances. Further to this, he demanded an apology for writing this review and left me a text message and voicemail with threats to sue me for writing this review. After nearly a month, he finally paid the summary judgement.
