Nancy's nails did the job right. They're efficient and they are familiar with sns powder and French manicures. absolutely not. Im visiting vt & wanted my nails done - If your inspo is like "young girl" kinda vibes, this place isn't for you. I'll attached my Pinterest inspo & the outcome video. no explanation necessary. I then told her to remove my crooked french tips - she asked if i wanted to keep that one design (she did it herself & i didn't want to be rude) so I told her she could just leave that. (secretly charged me $7 per nail design) uhhhhhhh sus af Then take a look at what I left the door with - FOR $80. I told her these are not worth $80 hunny. They aren't even worth $40. It's super hot in there as well and there is no music so it's really awk. As you can see "oval" is a bunch of different shapes and sizes still really pissed off I left paying $70. I have been here a few times as there are limited places in the area. I spend 50$ for a "deluxe" pedicure and again it was not worth the cost of an express. The guy rushes through, the massage is a joke, he literally did not even massage my feet at all, and I paid for EXTRA massage. I get they don't have to have to have good service because they are literally one of the only places but it's not cheap and to be paying for services you aren't even getting is infuriating! Booked appointment for a manicure and pedicure. Left after the most inept service I've ever experienced - and did not stay for manicure. Mail tech seemed completely untrained. Tech could not understand what I asked for - which was simply I wanted the nails shorter. She gave me the clippers and I cut my own nails. They don't wrap the nails to remove gel, but grind them down only. Cleanliness was an issue - at no time was I asked to wash my hands. The nail tech repeatedly poked me with her own sharp nails. I'm on a work trip and my nails were looking questionable, I'm SO glad I found this place. I called ahead for an appointment and was seen exactly on time. To the people who complain about the prices: you've got to be kidding me. Maybe because I'm from Fairfield county CT- $60 for a pedicure with an amazing leg/foot massage, and color gel manicure?!? Eh, overall experience was rushed, impersonal and just unimpressive. Another client had made appointments for each of her daughters and they managed to forget one of the daughters entirely, so started her after her sister was already done and dried completely. Person that did my pedicure only acknowledged me with a hello after he had his hands on my feet and I said a polite hello. Massage portion of the pedicure was basically non existent. Just rubbing lotion on my calves/lower legs and ignored my feet. I'm sure others have had better experiences, and possibly just an off day for them, but I wouldn't come back. read more

Wow! I've been getting my nails done for over 15 years at a different salon. My daughter booked us at Nancy Nails just to try something different. I can't believe how fantastic the experience was! They got us in EXACTLY on time and everyone greeted us and seemed genuinely happy to see us and the salon is VERY clean. And Nancy is SO nice. My nails look amazing! The gentleman who did my nails was so gentle! I've had a lot of stress recently and had actually bitten my nails off, so didn't expect them to look good as they were so short, but WOW! I'm so impressed by how great they look. The massage and warm towels at the end was a great treat. Their dog is adorable! He checks in on every station and is super friendly. I went to go get my prom Nails done, and I left with a bleeding finger. I asked for short almond acrylics and as he was buffing or filing my nails he sliced my finger open. I felt a slight prick but I didn't want to interrupt him so i let him finish. I left the salon and got in my car when my finger started throbbing. I looked down and my finger was red and bleeding. He didn't say a word to me about it. How can someone not see a bleeding cut on a finger that you're closely working on? Very unprofessional, will not be going back. read more

I am rather picky when it comes to nail salons because my skin is pretty sensitive and I like my nails in a particular shape and length. Compared to the franchise salon that I used to go in NYC, Nancy really does a great job if not better. The results of the service I received was okay. I found them rude no thank you, no response, no eye contact spoke their language among themselves and had little to no friendly interaction to myself or the customers in there with me in fact there was a palpable atmosphere of contempt. I believe it might have been felt by a least one other customer besides myself and noticed her looking around with a questionable expression on her face that mirrored my feeling that are these guys talking s*it about us. Their conversation followed by laughter and a unified quick glance at someone made me think so. When I paid the man in cash with a small tip because of the contempt I picked up from him wouldn't even look at me or say a simple thank you really turned me off. I will never go back here and give them any of my hard earned money because of the hostile atmosphere and ok service I received. And I am in a job that has me interact with hundreds of diverse people daily. I will NEVER recommend them and suggest other salons instead. read more

Being in the area for my daughter's graduation, I called Nancy Nails on a Saturday afternoon to see if I could get a pedicure for me and my 8-year-old niece. I asked if she could take us as walk-ins and she said she didn't have room until later that afternoon - gave me an appointment instead of having us come in and wait around. She doesn't overbook and I appreciate that. My niece was only going to be $7 for trim and polish. But she insisted on the full pedicure like I was getting. They have two kid chairs, with massage.
