Unfortunately the showroom wouldn't sell to us or our contractor. So I Googled and found True Hardwoods. Their price was about 40% lower than the showroom estimated they would sell it for. We ordered about 1,400 square feet and had a great order experience. The wood was delivered yesterday and the shipper they used ran quite late and didn't communicate. When I let John at True Hardwood know, he immediately responded and made it right for us. We only opened one box so far and it looks great. I'll update this once the flooring is installed but I am very impressed with their pricing and great customer service. UPDATE: Flooring is now installed and looks amazing! Our installer said there was very little waste. Very happy with the order!

That was especially frustrating because the company's own website explicitly advertises free samples as part of the buying process and says customers can describe what they need if they don't know the exact style. I was actively trying to spend money with this company and was met with zero interest in helping me make a purchase. If your website promotes free samples and assistance choosing carpet, your sales staff should at least be aware of that policy. Very disappointing experience.
