This woman comes storming out when I'm buying my cigarettes and accuses me of stealing she says "empty your pockets" let me say she look like she was tweaking herself and funny enough what do you think happens? I got nothing but did she apologize? No she doubles down saying she saw it on the camera so again I empty my pockets and raise my shirt up to show I don't have anything. Letting tweakers work at your store is wild and funny enough first time here. Never coming back definitely going back to my smoke shop. I LOVE Nana's smoke shop. It has great prices and deals, but on 5/19/26 I called at 11:43pm and told them I was on the way asap and would be there before 12, they told me to go ahead and come on in because they'll be open, I get there at 11:54 because I was hauling ass to make sure I made it and whoever answered that phone lied to me and closed the store before 12am. I was fucking furious and they absolutely wasted my time, money and gas. I had to go to a 24hr smoke shop called Eye Smoke shop which honestly I would recommend more then Nana's because their prices are better and when I called and asked to make sure they're open, they made sure to be open when I got there. Honestly nana's is so bs for that, if I call and you tell me you're open until 12, fucking make sure you're open til 12, especially if I fucking call and say I'm on the way! read more

Sold me a vape that worked out of the box, 30 minutes later it wouldn't turn on & stopped working altogether. They didn't even ID either.

honestly have no idea why some reviews are so negative, i came here just about an hour ago and the old man (didn't get his name) was extremely kind and patient with me, i did go in there already knowing what i wanted which made the process faster, he guided me to what i was looking for, we both shared some laughs and when i was checking out he gave me a free piece of candy from the ones he was enjoying himself, i loved my visit here and i'm happy they close at midnight, this is my new go to smoke shop :) also the prices are really good compared to some other smoke shops! read more

This is one of those places I stop at for convenience. It has a dive bar feel, but on the low end side. It's small and packed from floor to ceiling with all the usual smoke shop stuff and paraphernalia. Prices are on par with what you would find anywhere else. Their prices are about $2 more a piece for my vapes there, I can NEVER go in without being hit on by either the you g bald guy or the old man. Also and the MAIN reason I will never return and say go somewhere else is: I bought two vapes. I walked out and sat in my car and checked them both and 1 didnt work. Updating July 2022- vast improvements. Not 5 star because of the prices being so high - my brother said he's been going here recently and likes it so I went again two times and they have new owner or new management..they all speak English now. The staff are now friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful In the middle of the store is a large table of clearance items, mostly disposable vapes, worth checking out. Prices are still high compared to most shops. I wanted to get Vape juice bit they don't carry that. They have disposable vapes, tobacco products, and paraphernalia but you have to go to a sister store across the parking lot for juices and everything related to ecigs, mods, pods etc The juice store is very clean, and has everything. It's convenient for cartridges and coil, you can buy just 1,2, 3 etc individual Or box of $5. Employees are very- knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and professional. The owner kept selling us bad torches - we went in multiple times for the same torch model. He kept talking over us saying "it works it works" (it didn't work) The third time we go back, my girl and I wanted to test the torch before we left (to make sure we didn't have to come back AGAIN for yet a new torch). My girl clicks the button a few times to show the owner it doesn't work, and the owner yells at her to stop because "it's going to blow up." ??? He then says how cheap his products are, and blames the manufacturer. Then, when we obviously don't take these responses as a legitimate answer to our wasting $18 on his defunct products, he slams his hands down on his glass counter and yells at us to get out and that we're not welcome back. Lol yeah man, we weren't dying to come back and buy more of your "explosive", broken products anyway, but thanks for giving us the reassurance that we made the right decision. I've been smoking for like 15 years. I've owned well over a dozen torches. This guy is completely clueless - he's just BSing because he sells garbage, cheap products (by his own admission). So I guess I'm just wondering why he's either, 1) selling things that could blow up that easily to his customers without disclosing that (til they come back to return it), OR 2) running a smoke shop when he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about In any case, there's like a thousand smoke shops in Phoenix. I go here all the time and reading these reviews are hilarious the only people that have issues with they items are unaware of they surrounding and their stuff gets ruined never have a problem with the stuff I purchase. Nana's has been my primary smoke shop for at least 15 years. Historically a great vibe, employees and customer service. Not anymore. All of that has changed. It seems most of the regular employees have gone. The new employees do not seem happy, especially the manager (I think?). This guy has got a braided beard and a bee in his bonnet. He is a rude dude. Clearly annoyed with too many questions. Cheap AF. Wouldn't throw in a couple of plastic clips for the Nectar Collector I just purchased. Fine I'll buy them, got change for a quarter? That is definitely one of those things that good vendors will do. Ensure that the customer has all the equipment necessary. Not only did this jack of no trades refuse to throw in some clips he straight up ignored me when I asked to buy them. Whatever man. At that point I just wanted to bail. So I left without getting the clips and guess what? Nectar collector broken! My own damn fault. Well half. I should have stood my ground and persevered to purchase the proper equipment. I did not know how important those clips were, but now I do. Lesson learned. This is just the most recent example of the treatment customers have been experiencing lately. There are many other issues that I choose not to get into during this review. I have talked with others who have also been going there for well over a decade and they feel the same way. Such a shame. Time to find a new paraphernalia plug. No hard feelings Nana's, you gave me years of good memories. But when negativity presents itself I choose the other path. Peace. read more

I needed a torch for my medical needs. I was in town on vacation and went into the shop. I was amazed with the amount of products and variety they had. I had some questions about ADHD and CBD as well and learned a bit. The staff is very nice and friendly. When I got home the torch was leaking fluid pretty bad and I sent them a message via Instagram and they replied within 20 minutes!!! And I messaged them at midnight! They replaced the torch no problem the next day. I will definitely recommend this shop and will be returning Everytime I am in town!! read more

After several years of spending over $3000 in random items from extremely high in pipes to electric concentrator's for every vaporizers to $400 dab pieces. Two weeks ago I went in and bought $100 piece of glass that was deemed unbreakable. Only for it to break a week later in a perfectly smooth line that was an obvious manufacture defect. I was treated like complete crap and toll I'll give you a 50% discount on a new which means I'll still make my 15% instead of my 65% mark up. Im going to start by saying that I have a colostomy... Nobody perfect. My wife and I been customers at nanas for as long we been in this area (well over a year) and they were always real quick to get us in and out, almost like we were inconveniencing them by being there. That was ok I guess because in and out for smokes is whatever. Last night I went to replace a broken pipe and that raggedy ass old man was bout as rude as he could possibly be. First it was "man did you fart?" And I said yes I have stomach issues im sorry. He proceeded to make a big ol scene and start walking around the shop spraying air freshener. I have been told that Nana's has been around for many years. I frequent this shop when I am on this side of town. It's a small building but they have so many items to offer! Cigarettes, pipes, bongs, hookahs, shisha, and more are decently priced here. I believe this is a family owned store. The employees are very laid back and helpful. They also carry Smoke Odor Exterminator candles and sprays which are one of my favorites. They absorb smoke and pet odor but I use them simply because many of their scents smell amazing. A few of my favorites are Hippie Love, Dragon's Blood, Patchouli, and Rasta Love. read more

I would like to start by saying I've been a customer here for 17 years and until recently it has always been awesome. I'm not sure if it's new management or they are hurting for business or what, but the last time I came in to make a purchase I was told they No longer sell the Vape pen that I had purchased from them I was actually looking for replacement coils and the older gentleman behind the counter quickly said to me we don't sell those. I said but I bought this here and I've bought other replacements here before, then I spotted some on the shelf so I asked if I could buy those and how much they were his first quotehe said to me they are five dollars I said OK I'll take them all then he says wait wait wait I think these are more expensive, Which they are not because I have purchased them there before and the previous man sold me two for eight dollars. The old man picks up the phone speaks another language hangs up then tells me they are $10 apiece I said fine I'll take two. Beware for faulty product! I was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service shown at this smoke shop. I bought four disposable vape product known as puff bars about 3 days ago. I opened my last one today and noticed that it was not firing and was completed defective. After work I made my way into the shop and politely explained what had happened. I demonstrated how the light at the bottom (which means it's firing) would turn on but no vapor would come out. If I had actually used the vape to completion, it would have had a flashing light rather than a solid light. After demonstrating that I had been sold a non working product, the gentleman behind the counter then asked why I didn't bring it back the day I had purchased it. I explained I go through about one a day and had just opened this Vape today and was quite disappointed that it didn't work. He then explained that he couldnt do anything for me because it was not the day of purchase. As I was about to walk away the employee then offered if I would like to purchase more he could "help me out". I will not waste more money on potentially defective products. I understand this sort of thing happens with mass production, which is why almost any other smoke shop would have resolved the issue right away. I am disappointed, but no know not to waste my time with this establishment! read more

Nana's carries a lot of tobacco related items, but I go there purely for their hookah and shisha selection. They carry large boxes of Coconara charcoals (coconut coals for hookah... if you haven't tried these you really need to), plus various flavors by Fantasia, Fusion, Al Fakher, Potion, Hookah Hookah, Hookah Freak, and now Deja Vu. I have also seen Khalil Mamoon and Magdy Zidan Egyptian hookahs, plus MYA hookahs. They charge you a little extra for using debit so try to bring cash. Nana's probably has the best selection out of all the north valley stores that I have been to thus far. read more
