I thought my appointment was 10am I was on time. They said no you were 930 and took the 1030 appt. I never received a confirmation call. There was only an…read moreassistant who called me into a waiting room to ask me questions that I had already filled out in the lengthy intake process. Obviously she was just buying time. After two minutes she left me again in the waiting room. I find that super disrespectful. Just let people know that you're running behind so they can decide whether to wait. Since it would have been my first appointment, I told IMA that I needed to have a refund and that I would go to another cardiologist that is less wasteful with my time.

I purposely didn't mention the employee name because I didn't want to get anyone fired my intention was that maybe she could have a general meeting with her staff and discuss being more professional. I was not feeling well, so I scheduled an appointment at EMA. I called at 10 am and was able to get…read morean appointment at 1 pm. I was so grateful. When I arrived the receptionist was on the phone with another patient, so she did not greet me or acknowledge that I arrived. The one finger signal would have been sufficient. After she got off the phone she asked me to come to the desk. I had not been there in a while so I needed to fill out new forms. The clinic aide was very sweet, however she told me that my blood pressure was very high, 160/80. I was scared, my blood pressure had never been out of normal ranges. When Dr. C arrived in the exam room he seemed not interested in my concerns and I had to ask him to verify my blood pressure. He checked my blood pressure again and said it was normal. Next the clerk that accepts the co-pays had an attitude. I left the office feeling confused. Do I have high pressure? I had to go to a pharmacy and use one of those blood pressure machine to verify my blood pressure. I discovered that I am pre-hypertension. I will never go again.
