The extensive menu posted inside on the wall is drool inducing. My order of chicken jalfrezi was stupendous. Chunks of fresh sweet peppers coated with fragrant and tasty sauce made me so happy. Large pieces of real chicken! The serving was large - two meals worth for me. The naan bread was fresh, soft and oh so tasty. $16.00CDN makes this a great value. Lots of vegetarian options, meat is halal. The mango lassi was smooth, cold, and perfectly blended. Not really a dine in option - there is a communal table, I took my meal to my hotel. There is a grocery area through the interior door on the left. Many fabulous sauces, spices, everything to prepare a marvellous Indian meal. Some cotton clothing on rolling racks. This gem is worth a visit. Be brave - open the grey door and step into Vernon's best hidden gem. It is very busy with take out and deliveries. Lots of street parking. Close to many hotels.

The aromas from the kitchen were incredibly wonderful and we could hardly wait to order. The Tandoori chicken came from the kitchen ripping hot, crackling and sizzling. What a sight, and what an amazing flavor. The breast meat tends to be drier, and that is where the raita comes into play as a dip for the drier meat..amazing. The vindaloo was just spot on as hot/spicy as requested. Fluffy rice and hot naan rounded out the splendid meal. Our seating was great and the establishment was not crowded at all at the hour we ate. Wait staff were very attendant to us w/o being pests.
