I've been seeing Dr Allen Knecht for over a year and every visit is a gift of holistic healing for me. Last visit I felt a cold coming on and he had me lay on a massage table heated up with something (sorry don't know the name) but it supports your immune system. Then he muscle tested me for the right homeopathic cold remedy and prevention drops, and sure enough I didn't get a cold. And I can take these drops throughout the winter to strengthen me. Another amazing and maybe the most valuable thing he does is NET (Neuro Emotional Technique). If you have a pain in your body or other concern, he will do muscle testing to very quickly determine what emotion is related to it and at what age you first had that emotion. Then through a series of statements he helps you reframe the situation to something more supportive while he taps on your back. I've had so many physical pains reduced or gone altogether with this process. As an example, I became aware that I had a nervous habit of picking at my cuticles and biting my nails. He traced it back to age 7 and I remembered that was when my parents put a tube on my arm at night to prevent me from sucking my thumb while I was asleep. I felt the shame of that and Dr Allen helped me see I was only trying to soothe and nurture myself since my mom was emotionally unavailable. And I let go of the shame. Now if I start to pick at my fingers I send love to that 7 year old me. So powerful and effective and quick. And of course, I love how he adjusts my neck and back too. This is a great clinic. They provide a variety of health care services, from chirorpractic, to massage to nutritional supplementation. I was particularly impressed with the wide variety of healing modalities. I have been treated by two of the doctors, Dr. Ben Narcissi, and Dr. Raleigh Warren. Dr. Ben and Dr. Raleigh are both very compassionate doctors. Each displays a level of empathy and initution rarely found today. And, they listen. Dr. Raleigh was especially helpful. I have had multiple surgeries on my right shoulder. She is the only provider who has been able to get me out of pain and restore my range of motion. She had multiple visits without being given a specific care plan or being provided stretches to help at home after asking and being promised. After the last handful of visits it began to feel like there was a strong lack of accountability from her care providers. Issues and questions were pushed off until 'next visit' ultimately feeling like they were just taking advantage of the opportunity of multiple visits when resolutions could be discussed sooner in real time. On her last visit, the massage was laughably weak. She felt as though there was zero effort involved in the massage. She met with Dr. Benjamin Depass after the massage and he made her feel severely uncomfortable. He had said for multiple visits that he would provide stretches for her to do, those were never provided. After being confronted about the lack of effort and that he isn't really providing care in her best interests he said maybe you should go somewhere else. Very unprofessional. As she is exiting he laughed. We immediately cancelled future appointments and when asked why, we didn't hesitate to tell the receptionist the issues we had. She had stated we would be called by higher ups and that she would kick up the issue but accountability doesn't seem to be a core value from the Rhodes team.

He ultimately suggested an MRI which led us to discover a disc protrusion in my low back. Since the MRI, Dr. Truong has been instrumental in helping me manage my pain through adjustments, suggested stretches and exercises, and massage! He is a very knowledgeable and caring provider. Nestor is truly the best massage therapist that I have ever been to. He can often pinpoint my problem areas before I even have to say it! Through targeted massage and mobility exercises he is able to alleviate my areas of stress and tension. I often leave my massages feeling like a new person! In essence, I couldn't walk or put weight on my leg and NSAIDs didn't touch the pain. Complicating matters, I needed to fly at the end of that week to a event which was unmissable. Fortunately for me, I was able to get an appointment with Vidhra, who somehow made the pain manageable, and made me able to walk relatively normally again. Two days later, I had a follow-up appointment with Tara, who also did amazing work and made it possible for me to resume my life. I am immensely grateful to the two of them and cannot recommend them highly enough for acupuncture for nerve and muscle pain management. I went to my doctor and they did an ultrasound and took xrays, the did blood work, analyzed my mobility, and they couldn't find anything. Told me to take ibuprofen and tylenol for the pain and that was that. Thankfully, I was referred to Back To Life, and Ali specifically by my coach to whom I had been complaining due to the pain of various exercises. At this point I was so desperate for help and just didn't know what to do. This sounds made up, but after two sessions, the pain subsided. It still hurt, but it seemed as though it was improving. After three sessions, the pain no longer woke me up at night and I stopped wearing compression sleeves and took far less pain killers. After the fourth session, the pain just evaporated.
