I've used Nakamura Notary several times and Jennifer never disappoints. She is always on time, cordial, professional, and very reasonable with her pricing. Jennifer came to our house (Santa Fe Springs) yesterday to notarize two sets of living wills, final wills, and power of attorneys. However, Jennifer had caught some serious errors that I made. I had generated the docs on Legalzoom, but really didn't know what the heck I was doing. She suggested I speak to an attorney to create a trust. Jennifer is highly knowledgeable with estate planning, as she is almost done with law school. We did not sign any of the documents. Jennifer did not charge us at all, and REFUSED to take my money. WHO DOES THAT? I felt so bad that she traveled to our home and spent 40 minutes with us, looking over the documents. Jennifer, thank you so much! She is seriously the best in the biz. read more

Ms. Nakamura is a pleasure to work with you. She was responsive, we changed the time for meeting a few times, and timely. She was professional, and worked quickly. I will be using her for all our notary needs. read more

I found Jennifer on Yelp sometime last year. I was in a rush to get a document notarized and she was able to quickly fit me into her very busy work and school schedule. We met up at the grind in cerritos and she was very efficient and informative of the new regs pertaining to notarizing. She informed me the document I had contained old instructions and they had since updated the forms. She attached an addendum page just to be safe. She has very reasonable pricing. I paid in cash and viola, the document was notarized. She is very professional and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her services :) read more

My mom is disabled from a stroke and I needed to have her Living Trust notarized. I sent a text to Jen and asked her if she could come to our home and how much would it be. She asked to speak to my mom to make sure my mom was mentally there and knew what she was signing - which I really appreciated. We set an appointment and she was early!! She's a very sweet and thorough young lady. She took a lot of time and patience with my mom and went through the Trust to make sure everything was signed. I would definitely use her again and I definitely recommend her. Thank You Jen for making the whole process so easy!! read more

Would not come out to my mom's assistant living, just passed bar and can't take any chances.....wtf

Ms. Nakamura is everything you want in a notary: efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. From my first contact with her via e-mail, the whole transaction (notarizing a simple DMV form), was handled swiftly and smoothly; she was in constant, polite communication. As a self-described "starving law student," she was very flexible on appointment time and even location where to provide her services. Her fees are more than reasonable (yes, I've used other notaries), and she will greet and walk you through what she is doing in a very friendly manner. Please support this starving student by reaching out to her for your next notary need. You won't be disappointed. read more

My dad recently needed a notary for some financial documents. He had never used a notary before and was unsure of the process or what was needed. We contacted Jennifer and it was such a pleasant experience. Scheduling an appointment was easy and Jennifer totally worked with my dad on a time and place that was convenient for him. When it came time to have the documents notarized Jennifer was very professional and friendly. She took the time to answer all of my dads questions (he always has a lot of questions) and payment was a breeze. I would recommend Jennifer to anybody in need of a notary. Very professional and very friendly. read more

Jennifer was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her for you notary services.

Made an appointment to notarize some documents. She asked us to meet her at a coffee shop and said she would charge $5/10 min if we were late. We showed up on time and got a text that she will be 10 min late. She eventually showed up 15 min late. We waited in front of the coffee shop. The reason she gave at that time was that she had some unexpected relatives. We felt very uncomfortable using the coffee shop for her business. We also felt she was rude and unprofessional. Next time I will go to my Bank where they notarize documents for free. read more

I live in Los Angeles, but work in Cerritos and was recently in search for a notary for some paperwork. One day during my lunch break I went on quite a long search for a notary. I went to BofA and was told there was not one in today, and then I went to two other offices in the same plaza which were advertising "Public Notary" on their windows and were also told they don't have notary's. My coworker then found Jennifer on Yelp and she said she was leaving soon but would wait for us so we rushed over to her office. She was incredibly nice, so helpful, and just a really great person to talk to. She had a great personality, which really helped make the whole process less boring and more enjoyable. If you're in the Cerritos area definitely give her a call, she was awesome! read more

Jennifer was great! She met me within 10 minutes of me contacting her and charged way less than any other notary would for the same service. It doesn't get any better! Highly recommend. read more

The person did not introduce themselves they just asked if we needed notary service. Upon sitting to explain our needs, notary Nakamura was very curt, quick tempered, and easily confused. In all quite rude. I'll never come back nor recommend this service. read more

Jennifer was extremely professional and friendly, I recommend her to anyone needing notary services

This is a long due review for Jennifer. I first did my notary with her last year. Found her on Yelp and made an appointment with her during the weekend. I like her schedule that she's able to accommodate me during weekend. And her charge is very fair. This year I did another notary with her. Turns out something wrong with the notary stamp which needs to redo the paper. Jennifer was able to help me right away for free. I passed on her business cards to my real estate agent. Hopefully won't get her too busy!! read more

Jennifer is wonderful. She is punctual and very professional. She knows what she's doing and gets the job done quickly. Would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a notary. She is also very accommodating and offers weekend hours, which is a plus. read more

I unfortunately did not have the wonderful experience so many others got to experience. I had a very short conversation with her and all she could seem to focus on was the fact that I sounded nasally. I tried explaining to her I have allergies. I guess in light of COVID everyone seems to forget that we're also right smack in the middle of allergy season too and it hasn't magically disappeared. But I understand, people are freaked out, I get harassed pretty frequently because people think I'm sick when I'm not thanks to this pandemic. And while I respect her right to not feel comfortable in wanting to notarize something for me, I didn't appreciate the comment about "maybe when you feel better." It made me feel like you were calling me a liar. In the future just leave it as you don't feel comfortable. When you keep insisting the way you did it really comes off the wrong way read more
