I am new to nail salons in Huddersfield as I go to Leeds so I assumed like most people would, been here a while.. try them. NEXT MORNING AFTER As you can see in the picture with the French tip chipped if you zoom in my nail bed it has bubbles and all around is sore and cracked I asked for a refund and they said they would remove them, My nails are now permanently damaged and I can't get them done again until they are fully grown out and even then it's not definite. The shape of them has completely changed. You can see in the photos how brittle ripped melted and sore they are I think the public needs to know more so than any compensation (legal) as the damage is already done, don't want anyone else to suffer. OMG what a nightmare, I felt like cattle at a slaughter house, the staff sit there talking chinese at each other and ignoring the client completely whilst doing your nails. Very little care is taken to preserve your natural nail,they are so rough with you it hurt like hell, and so much acrylic was applied i knocked my nail on a wall by acciendent and lost the entire natural nail as it was ripped out of the nail bed!!!, absolute torture- for the love of god and all that is holy avoid this salon..you have been warned !

Titanic Spa is a relatively new leisure centre, located about an hour from Manchester, just outside…read moreHuddersfield. It occupies about half of an old converted mill, the other half of which is split between apartments and a site still awaiting development. The surrounding area is nice enough for a country walk, though not beautiful. Once inside the spa though, you certainly wont be leaving until you have to. An overnight stay at the Spa begins with a cup of coffee in the reception once you've changed into the luxury dressing gown that you wont be taking off all day. You then receive a quick tour of the Spa before you're left to relax in its tranquillity. The main Spa area features several varieties of Sauna and Steam Rooms, including a mixture of the two, as well as an aromatherapy room and an ice room. There's also a row of Jacuzzi footbaths with luxury shampoos and bubble bath to try. Finally, there's an ice pool and a bucket of ice water attached to the ceiling that you can drop over your head (its well nice!). Apart from the main spa, there's also the swimming pool room, which contains yet another sauna and steam room (these ones much hotter). Though they don't actually have a Jacuzzi, a part of the pool is filled with bubbles that you can operate with a button on the side. My favourite part of the spa experience has to be the relaxation room. It's a large space full of beanbags and comfortable chairs, sofas and beds for all your lounging needs. Its heated and has a video of a fire playing on a flat screen and an ice-cold water machine. The rooms themselves are amazing. They have two floors, with the bedroom at the top overlooking the lounge and kitchen. You could easily stay for a long time as the kitchen has all the required facilities including an oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a beautiful glass topped breakfast table, perfect for a champagne breakfast and croissants, cereals, jams and juice are provided. The overnight stay includes lunch and dinner as well, and whilst neither was particularly special, there were no complaints. The bar/restaurant area also stocks some nice beers and reasonably priced sparkling wines and champagnes. Everyone disappears after dinner but you can take a bottle back to your room. All this was around £135 for two of us because we got a buy one get one free from lastminute.com. However, when we got there we realized there are often deals available direct from the spa, so its quiet reasonable at all times. I thoroughly recommend a visit.
