I don't often leave reviews, but this one needed to be written. This is easily one of the worst…read morenail sets I've ever had--and I've consistently gotten my nails done for over 10 years. The shape and thickness are inconsistent from nail to nail, and the polish application is messy and uneven. Additionally, the salon itself is very unsightly. In hindsight, that should have been my first red flag, but options on the island are limited. That said, even with limited choices, I would strongly advise against choosing this salon. To be fair, I will note one positive: although my technician started out very rough and abrasive in how he handled my hands, he did make an effort to correct his approach and softened once he sensed I had reached my limit of repeatedly trying to explain and correct imperfections. He warmed up and attempted to be more accommodating. Nonetheless, this was absolutely not a $65+ nail set.

I would give her a 10/10, if that was a rating option on here. She applied a new acrylic set on my nails with a design. Derlis cleaned the bathroom right before I walked in and I cannot express how impressed I was. This may seem silly but, so many places (salons/restaurants/bars etc.) do not keep their bathrooms clean. Extra points for that! My husband received a pedicure from another nail tech, Lliana. He also had a wonderful experience. His nail polish was applied expertly. In the past, it's been too thick or all over the skin.

When asked about it they said I had to ask for the express one. I'm from out of town so unfortunately I didn't know that and took a chance on them as the reviews were good. She did a fantastic job on my bright neon orange nails (which DID glow under black light). We came the day before FF and left the day after, with a days drive home. Every cut & color she nails it perfectly. Lindsay is also very good, she cut & colored my hair when April was all booked up, and she also did an amazing job. It's rare to find a salon where both stylists are this good! Lindsay also cuts my husbands hair and he's more picky about his hair than I am! Both April and Lindsay have styled my friends very long hair beautifully, added the prettiest highlights and wavy beach curls. My hair is chin short and warm tones in my color, so shows you these ladies can do it all!! Any type of hair, they're the best. Call ahead to reserve an appointment. The staff is forever changing and the appointments are never consistent. I've gone in multiple times and my appt wasn't in the book and not appts available for days. You can finally get in and they run late or it takes so long to get your nails done. I've been trying for four weeks since my last appt. And no response back. I was made a pedicure appt and they cancelled the hour before claiming the person wasn't feeling good and would message me back with reschedule and no one has yet to get back to me. I will no longer refer anyone to this business. It's not of standard and service. When Erika is on her game the quality of craftsmanship isn't of question.
