when i called to make an appointment the woman was very rude, when i got there and picked out a color they brought me a few different colors and it was because they didn't have my color available but weren't going to tell me. the lady who did my nails was very short and seemed unhappy with me. i asked for a coffin shape and they're all irregular. it took over 2 hours for a fill and was $70. read more

Nail Studio must get its name from the fact the techs are true artist. My Deluxe pedicure was amazing and I'm just blown away with my manicure design. True attention to detail and very relaxing setting, best massage chairs in town. As a local I spent the last year going to another salon, that was my mistake. Holy cow! This is an amazing manicure/pedicure spot! Located on the street behind CVS...I randomly happened upon it on my drive from CVS to lunch. It is BRAND NEW! Opened 3 weeks ago! Super clean, excellent service, and the nail technicians are SPOT ON! Gigi was my gal and she is so detail oriented it blew my mind. I have been getting my nails done for well over half of my life...GIGI is FABULOUS! The owner (so sorry - I didn't catch his name) also mixes his own polishes to create unique colors. I am extremely picky when it comes to my mani/pedis...I will DEFINITELY make this a destination spot (I don't live here YET...). BONUS: they offer a covered parking garage as well! Very relaxed environment and service has a reasonable price for Key West. This is the only place I trust to do acrylic and the charge is equivalent to the service. They have all the bells and whistles for any design and can do some pretty creative stuff. Definitely recommend! read more

Was not given any type of menu, was rushed to pick a color and no perks for any massage or feel good for the feet. I've gotten my nails done a lot, all over the US and internationally. This was hands down the best mani pedi I've ever received. Julie, my nail tech was so sweet and soo thorough. I came in with ROUGH looking nails and wow...I don't even know how she made them look as good as she did. She even noticed the color I originally chose wasn't looking as dark as it should've and suggested a change to color that was perfect. I'm away from my 1 year old and 2 year old here on vacation and I was kind of not looking forward to getting my nails done because sometimes it's just really not relaxing and it can be such a miss. But wow, I almost fell asleep several times and felt so at peace. Their massage chairs were better than anything else I've used at a salon and I honestly feel like I got a great massage too. I'm sad I don't have a salon like this thats closer to me. As an aside, because I know salons doing acrylics vs shellac well can vary - I typically get acrylics and there were two nail techs in there doing acrylics and I was equally impressed by how thorough they were being with their customers too. And the end results were beautiful. all this to say, whatever service you get here I think you'll be happy with! read more

Truly one of the most terrible experiences I've had at a nail salon. The salon was very clean and at a convenient location. No complaints about the conditions. The environment and experience was the problem. I walked in without an appointment. There was no one else there so they were able to accommodate me. I needed a fill and 1 repair for my nails. I sat down and immediately the owner was on the iPad FaceTiming her mom and had an hour long conversation in front of her nail tech & I making it impossible to even start a conversation with the nail tech. So we just sat in silence for an hour as she conversed on speaker with her mom. It was super uncomfortable and not relaxing whatsoever! Then she proceeded to help try to put when looked like contacts on her little girl (which she was precious and I have no problem with parents needing to bring their Children to work)...but as expected the little girl was super scared and was crying. This went on for another 30 mins. It became so uncomfortable that I almost asked the tech to please stop so I could leave. The only reason I didn't is because I didn't want to hurt her feelings or make the little girl uncomfortable. But it was so disappointing. The tech was young and sweet and under qualified but I appreciate anyone working at getting better so no complaints about her lack of experience but plan on an 1.5-2 hour appointment for fill and repair...but she was super sweet. The environment was awful and I would recommend that the owner realize that people not only go to the salon to get their nails done but some people go there to relax and destress. I don't plan on ever going back to that establishment but I would recommend reading the response of the owner to this review to ensure that properly measures will be taken so no one else has to experience this. This is my first negative review I've ever left on any establishment. It was that bad! read more

I was looking for a place to get my nails done for my wedding. This place was a little out of the way from our hotel but worth the trip! The shop was clean, the staff was friendly and they did an amazing job on my nails!!! Added bonus was they have a car wash/detail business called Stock Island Wash in the parking area where my Fiancé had our car washed!! the salon is clean. nice people. new spa chairs. the options are limited for colors. I had a new dip and basic pedicure. Total $105.00 before tip. Within 24 hours 2 nails chipped. They did not bond to the mail. They are also very thin. read more
