NEVER come here for nail art, ever. I've tried with this salon so many times with different techs and the nail art on my nails never, ever looks like the picture. I understand my nails are smaller so I opted for only 2 flowers, but it was still done sloppily and she redid it the same way a handful of times. Ok so I don't really have problems when it comes to getting my eyelashes done but PLEASE DO NOT GET YOUR EXTENSIONS DONE HERE. I got single lash and the next day it started to fall out. After many attempts to have a happy experience at a nail salon, I finally have!!! My nail technician was named Rose, and she is amazing! I love her work ethic and the energy she put into my look. I had an acrylic fill with a gel color. Rose also shaped my nails from square to oval! I am so happy with her work. The staff seem alittle off putting. The pedi was great,, eyebrow wax great. But I got the eyelash extensions to try it out. Should've known better when she started cleaning my lid with alcohol. The extentions were not individual but rather 3 connected to one. She used wayyy to much glue. It irritated my eyes so bad. You could tell they looked fake. It took me 2 - 3days to get them off. From steam, to olive oil, to eyelash glue remover. Even with the glue remover it took me an hour of continuous rubbing and reapplying. When they came off I could not believe how much black thick nasty glue were on them. So as far as nails go, good place....eyebrows good experience for me. But eyelashes.....NO NO NO! read more

Third time going. I sadly won't be back. The prices lured me in to switch from my regular and give it a try. 4 nails broke within 24 hours. She asked me "were you doing dishes?" When I went back to have them fixed. Granted (and the reason I gave a gracious 3 star.) they did fix the 4 of them for free.... am I not supposed to do dishes with a dip powder manicure? My regular place they last 3 weeks and don't chip. I believe they don't do enough coats or are missing a step somewhere. Day 8 and I now have 6 broken nails AFTER being repaired once already. Nope. Went in for a gel manicure last weekend, about an hour or so after I left I noticed a crack one one nail, after a few hours, I noticed more and more cracks. It's been a week and all of my nails are all cracked (almost looks like I'm wearing crackle nail polish!) This isn't the first time I've run into an issue with this place, I've had to go back before for having a nail chip after a few hours and having weird spots in my nail polish from the lady not having me wash my hands before painting. They were very busy, and the woman doing my nails was doing a million things at once, which I respect! i chose a fun vibrant hot pink color that said "color changing" on the bottle, (which by the way isn't at all.) and my nails came out well, after the final filing with the machine, she started to use the buffer block, and she wasn't paying attention I guess because she filed my cuticle. It was less than a basic pedicure, she might as well have just changed the nail polish, and the women who did mine barely could pay attention to what she was doing while speaking to the other employees and forgot steps. In general poor customer service as well, no one said anything to me when I walked in. I had made an appointment for a mani pedi at this establishment. I had a gift card for a pedicure but they did not know that. I had received the WORST pedicure of my life. So short, no massage, and the nail polish chipped within days. I have NEVER had my toe nail polish chip within days, even when I do it myself. I noticed other clients getting longer pedicures with massages. I think maybe they paid an up charge but it was never offered to me! Other places include a massage with the spa pedicure and ask you which service you would like! Literally worst pedicure I have ever had. Was so disappointed because I was getting it done for vacation. Now the manicure was just weird. The lady had me sit down and put my hands in a bowl of water. My nails were clear, haven't had a manicure in about a year. The lady was also working on another customer. I have no idea why my hands have to be in a bowl of WATER so I reached into purse to check out if my gift certificate specified a massage type. The lady yelled at me to put my hands back in the bowl! And then got up to do a third clients eyebrows!! Me and the lady next to me were like wTf she yelling at us if we do something else but she's working on THREE people and we all had appointments. I finally got switched to someone else and they filed my nails down even though I didn't want them shorter! I've been getting acrylic nails for years and I always come here. I tried another place once but I came back to here. They have reasonable prices and a good selection of colors. If you are a germaphobe I DO NOT recommend this place. They re-use their "one-time-use" slippers & toe dividers for their customers. They are even nice enough to have a basket next to the check out counter for you to place them in, so they could use it on their next customer. The tools they use such as nail clippers, cuticle clippers, etc are only rinsed with water & places back into a plastic container that they put away in their individual stands. The acetone they use is re-used & has nail polish debris from other customers when they pour it into a bowl for you to soak your fingers in. How is this ok? I'll stick to my regular nail salon where all tools are packaged & sterilized; everything else needed such as a filer, etc are new & packaged. New & clean bags are placed in the tub for pedicures. I have been going here since it moved from across the street. Today went in for a pedicure. It was the worst pedicure that I have ever had. My heals were rough when I left and they were not when I came in. The foot basin jets were not working and I asked my technician to help but she had no clue what I was talking about. She started with cold water until I asked for at least warm water. She never spoke during the whole time...no use of any lotion when done and my toes are not painted on the tips like they normally do.. The regular price for a spa pedicure is $20. It includes the usual shaping plus a little hot stone massage and very thorough callous treatment. My technician spoke good English but did not seem to understand me. Further, she made my nails WAY too short, to the point of painful. She continued to file, long after the pink part was showing. She also didn't push my cuticles, but used the rotary tool on them (they were not bad - my last pedicure was two weeks before). This left a ridge in my nails. Horrible. It's been 5 weeks and my nails are just now a normal length, but the ridge persists. read more

First and last time! I am new to the CT area so I am adamant about trying new places. I went with a friend because I had a gift card. Thank fully I didn't have to pay full price. The nail techs were very rude, no eye contact or any type of communication. I made sure to tell them what I did not want them to do and they did just the opposite. They rushed through the service and did a 60 sec massage, very unsanitary used the same towels and rocks on my friend and I! Not a relaxing experience at all. Save your money! read more

We made appointments to get pedicures and manicures over one month in advance for a wedding. We arrived 5 minutes early, and they sat us in the pedicure chairs. However, the rest of my party ended up waiting for over 30 minutes for service, while I had to wait 20 minutes for service. One girl in my party received a botched manicure job while she was still in the pedicure chair getting her pedicure completed because they wanted to fit another walk in for a manicure at the manicure table. They didn't want to give her a proper experience that we had booked in advance. The rest of my party received a very rushed job, and one of the employees said that we had to wait because they accept walk ins. What's the point of booking appointments if you're going to accommodate every walk in instead? They only care about doing as much business as possible here and rushing everyone in and out. read more

I heard great things from coworkers so I met a coworker one time. They have a facebook page and asked you to Inbox them to make an appointment and first time customers received a special, so I did. When I arrived, I said I had an appointment, I guess it was not written down because I didn't get the special and upon leaving, the lady said "next time, make an appointment." I decided to go again for a pedicure and nails with my sister so I called to make the appointment. After picking our color they sat us in the pedicure chairs. At first the water was too hot, so she turned it down but she also turned my sister's down and we ended up having cool water. We had to sit there and wait because they were busy assisting other customers at the time and we waited quite a while. The pedicures were nice, but they cut both of our toenails too short. The prices are what enticed me to this place, plus the owner claims to have "the best pink and white technician in the state". So I gave it a try and wasnt impressed. They really do overbook themselves and you will have to wait a while even if you have an appointment. The lady who did my nails was pretty good, but far from the best Ive ever had. They werent even full gels, it was pink gel with white acrylic which I think is misleading. She didnt clean her tools before she started working on my hands which I did NOT like at all and as I was paying, the manager was harassing people (including myself) for not bringing cash. I only gave this miserable place a 1 start because I had to. I would have well preferred to give it a 0. The employees are absolutely miserable. After walking in to get a certain service done, I was questioned endlessly about what I was looking to do and was told they had no idea what I was taking about. In front of all of the customers this particular employee was questioning me to death for no reason and made me feel extremely unwelcome. I walked out faster than I came in. I would not recommend anyone goes here. This place doesn't deserve anyone's money, clearly they don't want business when they turn customers away right at the door. Not to mention the place looked extremely small and unkept. Poor poor poor customer service, I can't emphasize that enough. I was also looking for a place to book for my bridal party to go to, and this place will NOT get a cent of my money.
