Some minor clean-up will freshen this area up.

Not sure why the reviews posted are more on the negative side but this place is your typical walk in nail salon. ,They always have plenty of staff on hand and the majority have been working here for many years. During my visits, I have observed very friendly interactions between staff and customers. Prices are comparable to most of the salons I have visited. The only suggestions I have overall, is to offer newer and fresher looking products to choose from. Some of the nail polish bottles look as though it's time to visit the garbage can. The reception area usually looks a little cluttered from the stacks of tattered magazines that have been flipped through way too many times and should pay the same visit to the trash. The Nail Bar is a convenient place to walk- in for a nicely done nail service. Credit cards are accepted for services ,but cash only for the tip.

Pedicure

Ive been here many times for pedicure with my mom. I don't trust them with my fingers since they completely messed up my acrylics a few years ago. But this time I'm not coming back. I asked for a nude/red French tip, picked out the nude and red color for the tech to apply. She looked at me like I was crazy. She didn't even put down the nude base polish, just painted my tips a very thick red line. I'm talking half my nail on 8 of my toes. Very unprofessional, not coming back.

I went last weekend, for a 10 set of white coffee nails and asked for dip and they gave me gel. Then the added a extra 15 dollars for something i didn't even ask for. The lady was VERY disrespectful she didn't say a word and she was eating noodles while doing my nails she cut me with the filer and just wiped it without any gloves and her mask was below her nose during a PANDEMIC. They made my nails look thick and didn't even think of doing the sides. When showed her what picture she yelled at me in angrier. That is not how you treat a customer. She made my daughter sit the whole way on the other side without my permission like no she is 9. I do not recommend.

The WORST nail experience EVER!!! Walked in, rude workers sprawling all over pedicure chairs watching loud videos And talking/ screaming to each other. Now the nail experience. Ordered to sit in chair, no greeting, kinda rude, but i was like, 'oh well' Not my regular salon. Picked color. She proceeded to roughly dremel, burning my nail a few times. Proceeded to SLOWLY polish my nails. We are done, i go to desk to pay, and EVERY nail begins to peel off!!! Then says 40(!!) dollars for gel polish!!! I live near Philadelphia and hv pd 25 -28$ for same!!! She ordered me back to chair and starts to file my nails. All peeling off!! Then she realized she used the REGULAR polish for the requested gel manicure. Kinda laughing about it w other worker And a weak apology. Then re- dremeled my nails to paper thin and sloppy re polish. A 6 yrs old job ! And three HOURS later, still 40$$!!! R u kidding me? AWFUL. Pics taken immediately after. Clear coat all over. A week later need to be redone. AVOID.

What I got

If I could give zero stars I would. They're so rude and botched my nails. Will literally never come back I asked if my nails could be pointier and the lady said "no that's too hard for me and these look better "

My nails. Notice the pink color on my pinky finger that he didn't bother to fix, and just how uneven the polish is.

Kim and her husband just bought this not long ago, then Covid came, but they are opened now! It's great, they are both very talented, too.

Not what I asked for and told her lasted a week and now they're all chipped completely. I had regular nail polish on. Also completely cut my nails down, which I did not want . I guess specify I did not want them cut all the way down.

First visit but will plan a second visit to find out if the experience is any better…read more The shop itself is clean, comfortable and inviting. I arrived early enough so the wait was minimal. Minimal is also the best word to describe the service. I opted for a basic manicure and experienced a few notches below basic. Most nail places usually encourage the upgrades like gel, or other higher priced options, but are still focused with providing about the same type of service and pampering with a basic. Once seated, I began to feel as though I interrupted the technician's day and felt very rushed throughout most of the service. I never saw someone check their phone so much during a manicure - and I am not talking about myself! I certainly appreciate a timely turn-around time for a manicure, and especially when there is a roomful of waiting customers. However, there was no one else waiting and as soon as my last application of polish occurred his phone came out, once again. Conversation was almost non-existent, and a language barrier was not the factor. I know I certainly tried to engage him with some type of communication but it was mostly met with a one worded answer or there was no acknowledgement at all. Kind of a bit uncomfortable sitting face to face with someone while holding hands with few words being spoken! Try it sometime! As stated at the beginning, I will return to this shop but I think I might prefer to wait for another technician should the one I had for this visit be available.

I've seen Hannah at Salt Beauty Lab about 3 times over the past year for blonde balayage…read morehighlights. Hannah is super accommodating and always somehow able to squeeze me in. When I moved away in December 2018, Hannah was super helpful in giving me pointers for finding a new stylist, telling me what keywords to give the stylists to get exactly what I wanted. When I went to my cut and gloss appointment in Buffalo, the stylist would not stop complimenting my highlights. I think it says a lot when another stylist recognizes the skill of another. I've also seen other stylists for getting my hair done with weddings and other events, and gotten compliments on Hannah's highlights technique as well. Hannah's a certified Rusk instructor, meaning that she's taken an extra step to learn the proper approach with the Rusk products, and trains other stylists on how to use them. So, her expert technique isn't surprising! I love Hannah's work so much that I made an appointment to get balayage with her while I was visiting my parents in Greensburg for the weekend. And again, she was super accommodating knowing that I was coming in from 4 hours away. I can't recommend Hannah enough! And yes, I totally plan on keeping her as my stylist even while living in Buffalo. I'm also getting microblading done with Dawn, and I'm super excited about it! I'll update this review once I do.
