Nick is really great at his job -- honestly, no one else in that salon does nails as well as he does. But please make sure you ask for prices before you get your service, because the prices seem to change day by day. I went today with my 11-year-old daughter. She got her usual gel polish with a simple design on two fingers -- something they've always charged $15-$20 for. Today, he told me that at age 11 she is considered a "woman," and her nails would be $35. Since when is an 11 yr old a WOMEN ?!?! She didn't even get a pedicure -- just polish. I also got my feet done, but the hot water wasn't working, so the pedicure couldn't even be done properly. The water was lukewarm to cold, and the lady only filed my toenails and applied polish. He only gave me $5 off for the inconvenience. I'm just really disappointed because I've been going to this salon for years. Tonight I truly felt overcharged and taken advantage of -- especially since the salon was empty. I don't like doing business with places that change prices on the spot. My nails are cute, but this will be my last visit. Time to find a new nail tech. read more

Spent over $250 on 2 different appointments. First time was my daughter only for a full set. 2 nails popped off after 2 weeks. Next time - a total of 4 weeks after first time, took my daughter for replacement nails / fill and her friend for a full set. This time 1 nail popped off after a week. Daughter wanted them off altogether. So I took her back today. Was basically ignored for 40 minutes until they finally made time - took 20 min to remove the remaining 9 nails and then charged me $20. To remove their work. 1/10 do not recommend. They'll treat you nice if you spend big money. But treat you poorly if not and have no problem wasting your time. Poor hospitality, poor quality, poor communication and bad vibe. Would not recommend. read more

This place is maybe average on a good day. Have only come here because it's so close to me. But never again. Last night I went in around 6 they don't close until 7. I got the worst pedicure ever. She was so rushed she cut my toe. Tried to hide it! And sinks it in the water. AND proceeds to tell me...are you ready for this... "it was just dead skin." I said no that really hurt that was not dead skin and it's bleeding. It was hurting the rest of the time. And now every time I step I have to avoid pressure on it. I knew I should have just left but unfortunately I stayed. And she did a crappy job. She did the wrong color I wanted light pink she did hot pink I should have mentioned it last night but I didn't because I noticed late and I'm really bad with saying something. She skipped the massage all together. She didn't ask if I wanted my nails cut or just filed so they are way too short and rounded when I always get squared. This morning as soon as they open I call and ask for a color change and explain the situation and how she cut me etc and he wanted to charge me for a color change. Even though I was probably the last one there last night and called first thing this morning. Again I should have said something last night but also it's not like I waited a week or even a day. I well never EVER come here again! And I use to come here all the time because of Kim but she doesn't work there anymore. I continued to come because I live close by, I had a appointment and when I arrived they were busy and greeted me and asked how can I help? I said I had a appointment, what time? one guy asks I said 5:30. He says well your early, and everyone inside starts laughing. Let me tell you it was embarrassing!!! And I was ONLY 10 mins early, I am never late because I find it rude to be late for a appointment. So I take a seat and wait, I HAD TO WAIT 45 mins. I tried calling other places but every place I called was already booked up because it was last minute!!! this is how you treat customers that make a appointment for the time I requested?? I get it you want to make your money but to me it seems like they didn't care about my appointment and just brushed me off. At the end I figured they would give me a discount for the wait are something! Nope they charged me FULL PRICE and didn't even apologize about the wait. I refuse to go here anymore!!! My mother also stopped going here because when she got her nails done she got a infection on her finger which tells me that they used dirty utensils. This was one of the best sets of acrylics I have ever received. It was easy to get an appointment and the service lasted about 45 minutes. My tech checked in with me about shape, length, and style throughout the whole service. He paid particular attention to the symmetry of each nail on each hand which I appreciated so much. I hate it when one of my nails is an entirely different shape than the others. He double checked on the final product and made sure I did not have any acrylic powder under my nails or on my skin. The service: Bee and Flower are both very professional, and kind. Bee does my nails for me, almost always start to finish, but sometimes Flower will help Bee if it's busy. Bee is really talented with designs, too. I'll bring her a picture, and she does her best to recreate it. Definitely a Pinterest win! The atmosphere: Clean, spotless, doesn't reek of acetone like other shops. Coffee and tea is also available too! Overall, I have to say these ladies know what they are doing, and they are personable, and full of good conversation. They care about their clients! This is my go to nail salon! I've tried many around Santa Rosa but this is by far my favorite. I had an awful experience at another salon and my acrylics were sloppy and uneven, I went to Nail Art for a fill and she cleaned them up so well you would think it was a fresh set. For this fill I got sparkly gel and love them! They are even, smooth and my cuticles are left cleaned up. They charged a fair price for the fill and have punch cards for each visit. There's never usually a wait and they really pay attention to detail which I find hard to find in salons all while getting a good price. This is by far my favorite nail salon in the area. Before coming to Nail Art, two of my natural nails were split down the middle by a careless salon, that tried to rip off my old acrylics. A friend of mine recommended Tyler and I couldn't be happier to have been introduced to him. When I first came to Nail Art, my natural nails were so damaged that it was painful to even press on them. Over the past few months, Tyler has completely rehabilitated my nails and they are healthier than ever before. Most salons I have been to rush through the job, but Tyler takes his time to be precise and thorough. The results have been so beautiful. I came here for the first time to get acrylics and the lady was very harsh when shaping my nail. Nails still looked decent in the end and I would rate that experience as a 3/5 but I come back almost 4 weeks later to get my nails removed and the guy starts clipping my nails then picking at them with another fake nail. He shoves it in the first nail and it doesn't budge and the next nail slightly budges and lifts just a tad bit, enough for him to stick the other fake nail in and he keeps jabbing at it and forcibly pulls and RIPS OFF half of my actual nail and none of the acrylic. It instantly bleeds and stings. After that I tell him that I would like to take off my nails another way then he mentions that soaking them in acetone is an option, longer, but doesn't hurt as much. I don't know why we didn't start out with this option. He soaks my fingers in acetone, including the one that is cut, and it burns and stings but I sit through it because I want these off and it's already bleeding underneath my nailbed. Eventually, I wait and time passes and the lady comes and removes the foil and easily chips away at the acrylic that has become softened but LEAVES acrylic still on the nail. Then, she is filing my nails and the nail that was pryed off earlier comes OFF of my nailbed and is hanging in the air and she pushes it back down and applied acrylic glue to it. (See ring finger in the picture) I have never gotten acrylics or had them before this but after this experience and after paying them to remove it and to have them remove it in a harmful manner was not pleasant. This place is legit, and I am picky. 1. No chemical smell. Super important to me. 2. The woman, Nga, who did my feet was incredibly thorough. She washed, scrubbed, clipped, filed, washed again, then did a hot rock and oil massage. Same price as anywhere else. 3. I appreciated that my manicure was done simultaneously with my pedicure-- it took the same amount of time as most people take for just one service. 4. Their loyalty rewards card gets you $1 off per visit, minimum 5, of already cheap prices. I went on a Monday so I understand they weren't busy and were able to give the best service, but I am totally thrilled with both my French pedicure and gel manicure. I have gotten a few full sets here. They were very willing to do the nails just how I wanted them. I picked the designed tips and received so many compliments on my nails! The only downfall is the designed tips lift a little more that the regular tips do. I can vouch that this was the tip, not the technique, since I have had both types done at this salon by the same person. I only have time to go in on my lunch break, and they have been so accomodating to get done in time. RUDE EMPLOYEES and horrible nails made from cheap materials! On two occasions i was given horrible customer service. They gave me a vibe like i was not supposed to be there or something. My horribly done pink & white full was done so poorly and rushed. My index nail broke after the 2nd day. I went back to have someone possibly fix it( i was open to paying) and i was denied service because it was 6:24 and they close at 7pm. I dunno they could of at least denied me with courtesy. So RUDE!
