Service: (5/5) all the girls were wonderful, friendly, and attentive. They listened to our sensitivities and requests. One of the girls actually spoke my grandmother's native language! She was thrilled to have her as a technician and it made her more comfortable. Product: (2/5) unfortunately, our pedicures and manicures didn't last very long. My mom's mani cracked within TWO HOURS of our service (we called and they were wonderful about fixing it ASAP). And my pedicure and my grandmother's mani chipped a few days after. The new owner Tuyen was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about products and services which I was thankful for. I enjoyed my first visit and told them I would return. Today I returned and had a pedicure. It was honestly the best pedicure I've ever had. Such attention to detail and making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire time I was there. I did not feel rushed at all!! I've been to a lot of nail shops where you are herded in one after the next, it's never an enjoyable time. I desperately needed a fill when I got to Hamilton this weekend and not only were these ladies able to take me immediately, but they had a great color selection and were super helpful. I was very impressed with the knowledge and skill of the woman who did my fill (I'm so rude and didn't get her name - based on her interactions with the other people on staff, I suspect she's the owner), because she immediately identified that one of my nails in particular had WAY too much acrylic on it and that that would damage my natural nail. My fill was beautifully done and she was very attentive not only to the shape of my (stupid-long, coffin-shaped) nails, but also to the underside of the nails. Her super nice daughter took over for my polish, and she too was extra attentive and meticulous. I chose a super cute polish with teensy cherry blossom glitter (Petal Soft from OPI) in it - cute but kind of a pain in the butt to wrangle to get ideal flower placement. She made sure to get the flowers perfectly scattered and laid flat, and they look awesome! Both ladies were really nice and very pleasant to chat with, though they weren't pushy and I could tell that if I'd wanted to just be quiet and not talk, they would have been cool with that too. Great service and great company! Reasonably priced, not super flashy but clean location. Thank you so much and I am going to start planning my nail services for when I'm in Canada! I'm conflicted as the original girl who was shaping my nails got bullied into servicing this lady who was upset because she couldn't make her appointment yesterday but wanted to get her nails done today. Go figure. So the front desk girl took over and she was inexperienced as hell. First she made my cuticles bleed by pulling waay too hard. Secondly, she painted my nails and there's so many bumps :( my nails aren't smooth at all. But she was trying so hard. She painted 3 coats on my nails and she was so sweet. I love my nails from a distance. But if you look close :( They also did offer me a free drink but after the bully lady came in, they didn't have anybody on the floor to bring drinks from next door.
