Instead of paying a zillion dollars for fairytale flowers or having a generic photo booth, consider getting an ice sculpture instead! We had a Nadeau's elephant ice sculpture for our downtown Chicago wedding and it was such a unique and memorable centerpiece of the entire event! It was beautifully constructed with trunk and foot up, as well as our initials etched in the middle. All of our guests were raving about how amazing it was and taking photos in front of it the whole night! Brenda at Nadeau's was so great to work with, we immediately clicked. She was super responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend going with Nadeau's and I can't wait for another excuse to order an ice sculpture for a special event! read more

OMG.... I had the most amazing time here tonight @ Nadeau's Ice Sculptures. I have been driving pass this place for year's and never knew about the gold mine behind the walls. Jim the owner is so funny and sweet. His great sense of humor and creative skills are at a high. His assistant oops I forgot her name was such the sweetest and very friendly. I'm still in my awe moment at this time. All I can say is go on the website and get a quick glimpse of the ice sculpture. Even better give Jim a call and set up a team building class. If you ever been to Lincoln Park Zoo around Christmas time for the zoo lights. Than you have already witness some of the talent. Very talented and creative. I would write more but I'm still digesting all what I have seen on tonight. We were able to be a live audience to see a block of ice be chipped into a masterpiece. The fun didn't stop there. NOOOOO. We were section off into a group of 5 ppl per table. On the table was a big block of ice and beside us was a box of cut up pieces of ice made into design and a spray bottle. We were giving a certain amount of time to build our own personal ice sculpture. Fun fun fun. Its a must that I come back for more fun. It was just a fun filled night. read more

Need dry ice for cold capping during Chemo? Max from Nadeau's is your man! Clearly going through Chemo isn't a great experience, but Max made sure to always have the large amounts of dry ice I needed so that I could focus on my healing (and save my hair)! I hope to never need dry ice from Max again, but I will definitely share his name with anyone going through the process! read more

We utilized this company for a corporate order (a large 40" x 40" block sculpture) for our college. The service from the initial call through product delivery was professional, courteous and excellent. As for the sculpture, it was superb! With this being our first order, we had an idea of what we wanted, some color options, and that was about it. Nadeau's quickly relied with a couple designs that were exactly what we imagined. The order was promptly confirmed, and we awaited delivery, which was exactly as requested and agreed upon. We couldn't have been happier with our experience and ice sculpture. Nadeau's will be our future vendor of choice! Thank you all for the great responses read more

Honest trustworthy people at Nadeau's, and judging by their portfolio they do top notch work!! Thank you Again

I purchased an ice luge for a friend's farewell party using a Groupon. When I called to put in the order, their customer service was very friendly and didn't give me a hard time with the Groupon. I didn't have my number on hand but that wasn't a problem. I was worried about the lead time necessary to put in an order, but they said I could pick it up that same day, if needed. I followed up by e-mail with my number and they had the same great attitude then. When I went to go pick it up, they gave me a plastic tray to put the ice luge on and it was connected to a drainage tube. They also gave me a bucket to drain it in along with a note to check it frequently so that it didn't overflow. They load it for free into your car and it was bagged and boxed. Street parking is available right on Roosevelt Road, even now right after the snowstorm. The ice luge was the hit of the party and it stays in the same shape for 2 days so it got used the next day for a Super Bowl party. Even as it started melting, we turned it to the side and used the ice block to chill some shrimp and fruit. Definitely a high impact show piece for a reasonable price! read more

Jim and his company put on an ice sculpting display every year at the Lincoln Park Zoo Lights. I was fortunate to work with Jim, Al, and the rest of the crew at Nadeau's to come up with an unforgettable surprise proposal for my girlfriend (now fiancé). Not only are these guys good people, but you can tell that they love what they do and they are great at it. Without a doubt, we will use Nadeau's in the future. read more

They make amazing custom ice sculptures for a party I throw every year. I highly recommend them! Look at their website for samples but keep in mind they're able to do things custom and are very flexible depending on what you're looking for. For the level of detail and what you get, the price is very reasonable. These are always a hit at my parties and I'll be a repeat customer! read more

Nadeau's is great as always very helpful. Prices are reasonable and customer service is great.

My company just had a holiday party and we used Nadeau's Ice Sculptures for our amazing ice bar. Everyone from interns to the CFO took a shot from the snowflake luge. We were at the fantastic Sable bar and restaurant in Chicago, which has a beautiful bar with knowledgeable mixologists. That being said, the "back bar", which was the logo ice bar, was constantly crowded with people just waiting to get a drink from an ice bar! There was no need for other entertainment, the bar was the entertainment. Everyone wanted a picture with the ice bar! Nadeau's should definitely be a part of your party planning! These ice sculptures and bars are so worth it. read more

We ordered an ice sculpture for our "Winter Carnival". I work for a non-profit so our budget is on the small side. I spoke with the owner Jim and he said that he could provide us a sculpture within our measly budget. Jim delivered an attractive outdoor sculpture and a LED lighted table top sculpture that was more that I could have asked for. His staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Needless to say I would recommend his company and plan on using him for any future events. Top-notch, outstanding service! read more

We had an ice luge at our wedding. There was a line of people waiting to use the luge. Please do your self a favor and do a tour of the Nadeau factory. A fairly small expense in terms of a wedding that EVERYONE will remember. Everyone has a cake not everyone has something in ice. read more

Big Big hit at my wedding reception! They designed and sculpted and delivered a fire-breathing dragon ice luge that was absolutely stunning. Definitely worth increasing the wedding budget, especially if you will have special lighting at your event. Our uplights behind the dragon made everything just look magical. And the luge was so popular, we ran out of the Fireball Whiskey we were pouring down it! Nadeau's is really nice and easy to work with over email. read more

Great service! Very responsive and easy pick up that includes draining pieces and instructions. The ice sculpture looked absolutely fabulous and exceeded my expectations. I ordered a third of a block of ice, and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be using Nadeau's again. read more

Nadeau's just did an ice sculpture for my wedding last Sunday and it was PERFECT! It was the total hit of the wedding (besides me of course lol!) All of our guests just loved it, it was really amazing. It was of Sleeping Beauty dancing with her Prince since we had a Sleeping Beauty wedding theme. Nadeau's did a great job, they were so friendly and wonderful to work with, and their work is tres magnifique! I can't even begin to thank them enough for how wonderful and special it was to have such a beautiful piece of art at our wedding. I'm only sad that it couldn't last forever, but it always will in memory! read more

I have used this company twice before. The secretary is very rude, racist and unprofessional. She sent me an email and I came in for it to be honored. She stated she couldn't honor the coupon, that she sent me and told me I could get color for free for the summer special. Upon my fiancee and I arriving, I again produce the email. She then begins screaming yelling us that JIM the owner isn't honoring anything! I then tell her I'm a repeat customer and I don't appreciate the disrespect and unprofessionalism and ask to speak with a manager. Still yelling while getting the manager, he comes back and is very polite apologizing for her behavior. He told us that he would straightened it out with the owner and follow up with us. Well the follow up never happened and we now know why. I called and asked to speak with the owner JIM and shared with him my concerns. He listened and then told me, " I was told by 5 different people you were yelling and I can refer you elsewhere". Are you serious? It was your secretary whom you have a personal relationship with that was yelling and being rude with her subpar behavior. I would never recommend this place to anyone as the undertones are very racist! The minority dollar isn't welcomed there as JIM told me that! read more

Wonderful people to do business with! Very helpful and friendly. Jim was wonderful to work with. He made several "tweaks" to our design until it was exactly how we envisioned our ice sculpture to be. He gave us a tour of his place, helped us brainstorm for ideas and helped us come up with a very unique, fun, cool looking ice sculpture for our wedding that wowed our guests. The prices are very reasonable and well worth it. These ice sculptures are made well and look amazing! Our guests are still talking about our ice sculpture and our wedding was in March! read more
