Ms. Jamie is kind, loving, supportive and always with the best disposition; she is truly the BEST. My daughter not only learned how to float in less than 30 classes, she was also able to get in and out of the pool safely, she was able to go around the pool by holding into the border and she was also swimming from side to side by the time she was almost one year old. We love Ms. Jamie, she's now part of our family. Please do not hesitate to contact Aqua Fit, they won't disappoint.

My son started lessons with Mischas Fishes when he was, I think, 3 and a half years old, he was a…read more"fish" from 6 months to 3 years old and then turned afraid of the water.. we tried some other coaches and didn't get better, and when we finally got to Mischas F. we found our match! We continued lessons with them for 4 more years, and also my other son had lessons (he was 2 at the time) until we moved to another country 3 years ago. Both my kids LOVED their lessons and Michelle, till this day they remember her, she is amazing with the kids!! She is respectful of each kid's needs, loving and lots of fun, but also firm and i think is the perfect combination. Now we had to find lessons in this country for my daughter, and she had a traumatic experience with the coach. He didn't respect her times, zero idea on how to treat a toddler. I really wish we could have our Mishas Fishes's experience with her. As far as I know, Mischas Fishes is the best there is in Miami. (We tried with probably 8 more coaches before and after Mischas... no comparison) Highly recommend!!

I'm extremely disappointed with this company. My baby completed 14 classes with the first…read moreinstructor and unfortunately made little to no progress with swimming or basic water-safety skills. I reached out to the company because I was concerned about the lack of progress, but I did not feel they were willing to properly address the situation. They eventually sent a different instructor, who was a really nice guy and much more helpful. However, after assessing my baby, he recommended approximately 18 additional classes. I don't think it's fair that after paying for 14 classes with almost no results, I'm now being told I should pay for another 18 classes. I understand every child learns at a different pace, but when that much time and money has already been invested, I expected the company to take more responsibility and offer a reasonable solution.

So, I (sort of) wish I could write a positive review for Juli. A couple of months ago, I would…read morehave given her five stars, but a couple of no-shows and (one-sided) exchanges later, she will have to settle for one (because I can't give none). We initially wanted to work it out since she was great with our son but, in the end, I am pretty sure that the amount of time that we spent waiting for her to (not) show up would come close to or surpass the amount of time that she actually spent in the pool with our child. She is probably just overextended but won't admit to being so and, definitely doesn't apologize for (and, more importantly, won't issue a refund for) wasting our time and being a no-show on multiple occasions. The first couple of lessons were good. At some point, we committed to biweekly lessons. Since we were coming from work, we requested the earliest time that we could be available. Every week she tried to make it earlier. We (sort of) let this slide until the time she was running late (even though she had been available for a lesson 30 minutes earlier and hence could have been on time) and then decided to cancel our lesson so that she could get to her next lesson. That, unfortunately, was the beginning of the end. From there on out, despite the fact that we had STANDING appointments with her, we never knew when she would show and when she wouldn't. There was no warning, no apologies, and, more often than not, no answers to my texts when our child was ready I was trying to figure out were she was. No-shows were interspaced with occasional lessons which unfortunately caused this to go on longer than it otherwise would have. Exchanging messages (that were translated into Spanish) didn't clear up the situation, neither did going through the intermediary through which I had gotten her name. The final straw came when she was sent up to the pool by the doorman who she knew had spoken to my husband. By the time, my husband and child got to the pool, she had left. GONE! I can't really attribute her screw ups to the (not insignificant) language barrier (thanks, Google Translate). We never finished the series of lessons that we prepaid for. I never, ever do not go after/get what I have already paid for but in this case dealing with Juli just stopped being worth it.
