Fourteen Mile Tap House has revamped the inside of the building and has made it a lot more open with some extra TVs. They extended the inside bar and expanded the seating area. They've got a pretty solid selection of beers, but I would have liked to see more sours and ciders, personally. They don't have a huge selection of bottled/canned beers, but between the draft selection, cans/bottles, domestics, wines, and even some frozen drinks, you're sure to find something you'll like! The pina colada was pretty decent. It is pre mixed, so it's not a hand crafted cocktail, but I was not mad at it one bit. The food menu wasn't too bad, but I think it could use some improving. The pretzels are not made in house and leave a lot to be desired. We got the Brie and mango chutney, which was good, but we definitely expected the Brie to be baked or broiled or warmed in some capacity, but it wasn't. The menu doesn't suggest it will be warm, we just assumed it would be. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was a little difficult to spread on thin crackers, so it got really messy. Nachos my friends got looked fine, but not overly impressive by any means. It's definitely bar food, not a fancy restaurant. Overall, we had a good experience. The prices were fair, the service was great, the establishment was clean, and there is a good variety of drinks to cater to damn near everyone. I will most certainly return to Fourteen Mile Tap House with some hope of the quality of the food improving.

From the moment we walked in, the service made the evening feel special. Our waiter was genuinely kind, attentive, and never missed a beat. The food? Absolutely incredible. The filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection, tender, flavorful, and one of those steaks you don't want to end. The asparagus and broccoli were perfectly prepared, the bread was fresh and delicious, and the shrimp cocktail was the perfect way to start the meal. The drinks were just as impressive. My wife ordered the ribeye and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The portions were generous, we left completely full, and honestly... I couldn't stop eating because everything was that good. An unforgettable meal, amazing service, and the perfect place to celebrate a milestone. We'll definitely be back!

First I have to say our server was wonderful. So why would I give this restaurant a 1 star?…read more This is a steakhouse. They tout their steaks. I came for tasty steak from experienced experts. I ordered the filet mignon. Rare. It was well done. Inedible. Only twice in my life (and I eat out frequently and all over the world) have I sent back food. My friends had the hamburger. I immediately called over the server who took it back in the kitchen. My friends enjoyed their meal and finished eating, yet my steak still didn't arrive. The server came over and said it's coming out very soon. But at this point I said keep it I don't want it, my friends ate their food when it was hot. I was offered a dessert. I'll not be back. Guide yourselves accordingly.

What a great find in Lexington! This is a true Steelers Bar. No question about it! Walked in to a party just before kickoff on a Sunday and had a great time! The PL game was finishing up so we waited for 2 bar seats to open and got the best seats in the place! See photo. While I was waiting for a seat, one of the servers (Olivia) brought one from the bar. When we sat at the bar, the service was outstanding! Hospitable, friendly and helpful as can be! Brody ordered the Jumbo chicken wings (Garlic Parm) with steak fries. It came with 8 and he ate 7 and I helped myself to the 8th. I ordered the Steelworkers Sandwich with Capacola and a fried egg. Both meals were larger portions with plenty of food. The wings were crispy and flavorful. The SWS was on rye which worked well and was massive and tasted great. Cappicola is a special treat that I used to eat frequently growing up in Pittsburgh. Love this place. A bit of a hike from home in Indian Trail, NC, but is definitely on my radar when passing through Columbia/Lexington on game day. Cheers and Go Steelers!
