I was looking forward to trying this place when they had advertised they were opening soon, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. At first glance, it looks like a "Chipotle", where you can actually see them prepare all the food right there in front of you. But when I actually took a bit into my food, it was mediocre at best. I first tried the carnitas (shredded pork) burrito, and it was quite bland-tasting. The white rice they put into the burrito had no seasoning (it was just plain white rice), and I don't think the black beans had any seasoning, either, so that sort of explains it. Even the carnitas barely had any flavor. I then moved on to the tacos, hoping it would be an improvement. Not much here. Tasted pretty much the same with the barbacoa meat (shredded beef); the sour cream didn't help much. Overall, it is not a bad place, but it is definitely not Chipotle, much less Tex-Mex. Unless you're going to visit Taqueria Las Mexikas (which is arguably the best and authentic Mexican restaurant in Vienna), the only other option for a decent burrito is ordering a dürüm from any one of them ubiquitous Turkish places all over Vienna; their version of a wrap or burrito is a helluva closer than Nacho Libre's! read more
