Jacob's Gist: I miss Chipotle more than anything- but Max & Benito (almost) fills the void.
===================
The first thing I did once I landed in Vienna was drop a quick Google search: "Chipotle in Vienna". Unfortunately, no luck. However, Max & Benito came up instead and boy am I glad it did.
I was in Vienna from Friday until Monday and in that short span of time came here twice. Yes- it's that good. Max & Benito uses the same assembly line process that Chipotle uses and offers similar options (lime rice, carnitas, chicken, veggies, etc.). On my first visit I got a chicken burrito and on my second a pork burrito and, of course, ordered chips both times (what's a burrito without chips?). The burrito was amazing both times. The ingredients are good and seasoned well and you get an all around damn good burrito because of it.
The burrito costs about 7€ and the chips cost about 2€, which I'll happily pay if it will fulfill my burrito cravings. The place itself looks very nice and is decorated in a playful and fun way. Don't be fooled by what looks like a lack of seating- there's a second floor full of tables. And you should definitely stop reading my review and go sit at one of those tables with a burrito. read more
