There was grotesquely overpriced plum wine and sake (yes, one variety of each- but plenty of Polish beers). After leaving the restaurant, everyone felt like they had a lead weight in their stomach and I vomited. I suspect a fish in the roll was in the edge of turning. I am giving the restaurant one star for nice service and attractive decor. The food may or may not be fresh and has none of the subtlety of actual Japanese food. This restaurant is an Eastern European interpretation of what Japanese food should be like; proper Japanese chefs in NYC or another large city would not try to pass this off.
