The sauce was deeply flavorful and rich. The Onion Dosa was a waste of money. It's about two feet long and disappointingly stuffed with chopped RAW red onions. No bueno, they fell out of the piece I cut and got everywhere. I ate a little bit and it went into the compost bin. The crepe itself was flavorle The Butter Chicken was fantastic, perfect spice level for me, the chicken succulent and tender, the sauce flavorful and delicious. There was a weird little cold soup of some kind of veg - I could only identify carrot - tasted sour and was not edible. Not sure what it is, it's not on the menu. So A+ on the Methi and Butter Chicken, F on the dosa. Portions are large, I'll be eating the two mains for days. Rice portion is huge.

But our favorite of lamb vindaloo wasn't a lunch option so we ordered that separately along with tandoori chicken. The tandoori chicken came with a chutney rack (dipping sauces) and the vindaloo came with a side of naan. Normally naan is ordered separately and doesn't come free with dishes, only certain ones. Everything was delicious. The tandoori chicken came sizzling hot and was tender and juicy. Both curries (ordered at medium spice) were so flavorful! Good amount of protein in each. We also ordered the pickle accompaniment and that was a miss for us. It's not our taste. Highly recommend this place .

This appetizer was a hit, even for the most devoted carnivore in the party. We also tried the pashwari naan--it's a sweet naan that is filled with coconut and golden raisins. My mom in particular loved it. It would be a wonderful foil for a spicy curry. For our mains, mom ordered the kebab, which came with dal (we picked the golden lentil dal, and I might possibly have had "just a taste" several times. (Verdict: it's yummy!) I ordered the paneer chili balti, a comforting balti that is sweet, savory, and salty with warming spices. The rice was also exactly right--fluffy, perfectly salted, and just the right texture. We also got the mango chutney, which is a tart, sweet, salty, savory, amazing flavor bomb. Try it at least once. For dessert, we shared the kulfee and ras malai. These aren't on the menu at every Indian restaurant, and since first having tried them (at India Palace, in fact), I know that they'll always be my first choice when I see them, especially the kulfee. Holy wow. As usual, the service was great--friendly, attentive, prompt, and helpful, the staff here makes sure you get what you need.
