Built in 1909, it has a certain elegance about it. It is a perfect venue for a small, maybe 30 to 50 people tops, event. Very easy to find, a prestigious location, and lovely grounds. Except for the owner, the staff is like high school kids. A tad on the unprofessional side. I mean, like coming up to my table carrying a bustub and removing plates directly into the tub. Ick. Like a Dennys or something. The food was marginal, I will not accept instant mashed potatoes at my wedding if I ever get married again. Pork was ok, salad was a little wilted. S & P was not on each table, lame. Not much of a choice on the buffet, but I am sure that was due to the choice of the bride and groom. B O T T O M L I N E ..... O K A Y

We used Renee for our flowers at our wedding. My husband and I are not big flower people. Our…read moreoriginal plan had been to go to Trade Joe's or the farmer's market and just get some flowers there. I am so happy that my mother in law convinced us to go here instead. My mother in law was the main contact point for setting everything up with Renee. She is much more flower savvy than either of us. She arranged to have boutonnieres made for the guys (special ones for us), corsages for the moms, and flower buckets for the ladies to make their own bouquets with. We gave Renee our basic color scheme and that was about it. When we showed up at the barn for our wedding the flowers were all set out. They were perfect! The colors were just right, there was a good variety, and the centerpieces weren't too intrusive. Renee also took care of the setting up and arranging of all the centerpieces. That was a huge help to us too. Not having to take care of the setup allowed us more time to relax and take photos. The ladies really liked their selection of flowers in their buckets too. They had fun matching their outfits and flowers. Renee's flowers were a wonderful addition to the wedding. I am so happy that my mother in law convinced us to go this route. Skip the expensive florist and check out Renee and her flower farm. 96/100

I ordered wedding flowers from three different places for the big day. I am glad I did. I…read moresearched for a local vendor that I could flowers directly off the farm and this led me to Renee. The first meeting went extremely well and I paid a deposit for the few buckets of flowers I was ordering up and was told that was the minimum order which was fine because it gave me a nice variety of various fillers and such that I needed to complete centerpieces and arbor. I assumed that I would get a generous amount of flowers as this is a one woman show with her own farm and it is nearing harvest season in mid-september so I figured she may be more generous. I arrived and it was a standard amount of flowers which by the way I did love all the selections. they were in fantastic shape and ready to roll. What left me feeling a little less than happy is my final bill was an additional 100.00. This was double what I though I would be paying and for the amount of flowers I got I just felt a little disappointed. I could have easily ran to trader joes or sam's club and gotten several big bunches of mixed bouquets and came out with more flowers and less expense and run around. I try to support local business as much as possible because it is good karma and Renee is a very nice lady but I would make a different decision if I had to do it over again.

Do you ever get a craving for something? I mean, other than you pregnant Yelpers who need pickles…read moreand ice cream. I do. I had a craving for spaghetti and meatballs. I was walking through the supermarket and after reading a recipe, I was putting ground beef and bread crumbs and the rest into my cart when I had a thought. There are frozen meatballs, right? So I put my stuff back and headed to the freezer aisle at Publix. With a BOGO on Simek's meatballs, it was super easy to grab two (huge) bags of meatballs and head home. With the pasta and some Rao's marinara sauce, a half dozen of Simek's meatballs and a healthy portion of fresh grated cheese, my craving was solved. These are bite sized, flavorful and delicious! I have a bag and a half remaining and while my craving is sated (for now), I'm looking forward to a repeat. Or maybe I'll get a sub roll and make a meatball sub. Can't wait!
