Read the following for more info: A couple months ago, I brought my brand new car to Dan at Chi-South Customs 25885 S Ridgeland Ave #4, Monee, IL 60449 to paint an Italian stripe on the front, fix one scratch on front drivers fender, and color match the silver trim around side windows and a couple other spots on car. Three weeks later I picked up my car and paid in full. The next day I called Dan since I saw several issues with the vehicle. We went over every part of what he did wrong on my car. He gave me $2000. back. Could still see scratch on fender, the stripe is wavy, bled into the black, a scratch out of the white by emblem that he didn't even take off to paint. Painted all silver trim on car with out taking it off and didn't prep correctly. Passenger side $2000 in damage, head light has a 3 in. scratch. Front grill that wasn't painted has a 2in. scratch and over spray on it. All rubber around windows has paint on it. Red, white, and green over spray on sunroof. Over spray on other parts of car and windows. Damaged the front clip and hood with out fixing lines and wet sanded and buffed only parts of it. Buffing compound in a lot of spots he didn't clean. Now I have over $10,000 in damage I have to put out now to get it fixed. Dan said his insurance won't take care of it and he has no money. I told him to at least make payments and no response. Sorry to say he's not a man of his word.

I went to start my car and discovered the battery was dead. AAA replaced the battery, and discovered the engine would crank but would not turn over. I needed to find a repair shop or make arrangements to ship it home. I began a Google search and quickly began calling "classic auto repair shops", asking for help. The replies ranged from "We can't take you for 2 weeks" to "We don't work on cars that old". I finally dialed Old School Classics in Monee IL. Bruce listened patiently to my predicament and said he would help. I had the car towed from downtown Chicago to his shop in Monee. Bruce greeted me and began working on it right away, with help from Mike and Ray. By the end of the day Bruce had isolated the problem to the EFI control module, one of the many modifications I had made to improve performance. Bruce continued working on my car first thing next morning. He reached technical support at Holley, who helped him verify that that the ECM module was fine. They directed Bruce to a hidden relay that tested bad. After replacing the relay, the engine fired up perfectly. I was very grateful to pay this bill, be on my way and avoid a $4,000 charge to ship the car back home. My car ran perfectly for the 2,000 mi trip back to Los Angeles. Bruce, Mike, and Ray are honest "Old School" people. You can trust their expertise. They deliver excellent service quickly and efficiently.

Tony recommended at the time that they could also install led lighting on the bottom side of the doors for better lighting and added highlight. The after effect was beautiful as you can see from the photos attached. Over the last couple weeks the doors stopped functioning smoothly so I called Shockwave this morning to see about realigning the hinges. Ten minutes later, I received a message back to bring the car back anytime before 6pm closing. I stopped in during lunch break unannounced today. Their service technician stopped his current project and immediately grabbed the correct tools and readjusted both doors. 15 minutes later I was back on the road - No Charge. Edit 2: The owner has not only refused to provide the video but they've also threatened me by telling me they know where I live and that they'll sue me for my review (see attached image). I've never seen this level of unprofessionalism from a business owner. Also, I haven't purchased anything from this business so the only way they would have my information is if they went out of their way too look me up online which is frankly quite disturbing. Brought my Volvo in on Saturday to see if a remote start can be installed in my car. The guy said he had to check to see if my cars compatible so he pulled it into the back of the shop and brought it back like 5 minutes later said sorry he couldn't do it. No problem I said and left but as I'm driving I hear a weird thumping noise coming from the front of my car. i pull over and check and part of my bumper is loose. I pop the hood and all but 1 of the 6 fasteners are gone so front bumper was basically hanging on by a thread. Thankfully I noticed it before I got on the highway where I'm 99% certain my bumper would have fallen off and caused an accident. Also the rubber molding on the driver side was not properly pushed back in but that's not nearly as much of a concern. I do not recommend bringing your vehicle here at all but if you do remember to take pictures of EVERYTHING before they touch your car.
