I wish Yelp had 10 stars. I would use them all here for Katie Peters. While I've worked with many…read morePT's over the years, she is by far the best. I have worked for a long time with Katie, and can speak volumes to her incredible talent in the realm of all things PT. She started as a therapist for my wife and me, but soon became an honorary member of our family. More on that later. I first came to see her for some common knee pain associated with instability that flared up from cycling. That was getting substantially better thanks to her help, and then I got post tibial tendonosis as a result of taking Levafloxacin, a wretched antibiotic. Katie immediately focused in on that, working twice a week with me in home to help get over an extremely stubborn injury. Her commitment to getting me back to 100% was incredible, and without her help, I would have surely been stuck in a deep, painful depression. Luckily, she had me back on my bike, riding through treatment, and eventually back to normal again. I was always amazed at how well she was able to hone in on the inflamed areas (which were constantly changing), treat them, and then make a realistic, executable plan on how we were going to move forward. Her attitude was consistently optimistic, and very much in a "we can do this" approach. She is confident in her abilities, but never arrogant. Her continued education in cutting edge PT techniques is just one of her assets that she brings to the table in this regard. I wish I'd found her years prior. Her deep knowledge and understanding of the human body has left me speechless on countless other occasions-- too many to even delve into here. She helped my wife and me for years (I'm very active in general, and tend to play a little too hard sometimes). Katie always got us back to healthy again. Things really changed, though, when my father was diagnosed with Parkinson's. A man who went from running 5 miles a day, 6 days a week was suddenly a shell of his former self. Katie began working with him twice a week employing special techniques, and a customized workout plan to help him manage his disease. Having a father with the PD herself, she has an incredible understanding of how it affects each patient differently, and where they need to become stronger. Her commitment to my father was incredible, and something that my family cites as helping him improve his gate, speech, motor skills and most importantly, quality of life. His wife went from being skeptical that PT could help to absolutely attributing his success to it, but more importantly, to Katie. She came to work in home, always punctual, and always professional. Her optimistic, "we can do this" attitude kept it light, even in his darkest of times. Look, I could go on with an endless list of things that Katie did to help not only myself, but my whole family. The truth is, you're just going to have to see for yourself. From linking me up with a good PRP doctor, to triaging every injury I gave myself (and fixing them), she is worth every penny (and really, more). Her warmth and professional approach are sure to make a fan out of anyone. Denver is lucky to have her now. San Francisco will forever miss her!

Katie diagnosed the issue, gave me some homework and the problem immediately began to evaporate. I'm verging on being 100% recovered with my pain (in this case testicular and back pain). She has great bedside manner and is nice to talk to and is a pro at what she does. I couldn't recommend higher and went out of my way to make this review (I don't typically write them) because of how happy I am with everything.

I've had PT a couple of times before in a different state and Rebound was the best. The atmosphere is congenial, light and professional and educational. I repeated asked mul times a day for some warmer clothes as I was freezing. you are only given one blanket. Ms. Misha gave me a second blanket to try to warm up but the unit was soooo cold and you couldn't take blankets into the rec area. On Monday the nurse yelled at me to "cover my legs " as shorts were not permitted. I was given paper scrubs that fell down over my behind. Other gender neutral people were still permitted to just wear shorts!! On Tuesday (5 days in facility) a BHA offered me a size 20 pair of pants, 5x pair of pants and 3x and 2x pair of pants. I asked him his waste size and added 10 to his number then asked "Could you wear tho pants without a belt?" he responded negatively. The people leading the groups were fantastic! however bring warm clothing and expect not to sleep as they constantly wake you up to ask you to show your bracelet.

I have been to other pt's before, some I would highly recommend and others that I truly would not. To me it is obvious Charlie belongs in the former category. Not only is he is super accommodating, but more importantly knowledgeable. Charlie is very thorough and knows exactly what he is doing (he has corrected some of my behaviors which hindered my progress dramatically, which no other pt's have noticed/given accurate advice on). He takes a totally hands on approach and does not rely on assistants at all (too many pt's rely on undertrained assistants so they can bill two or three patients at once; in numerous sessions with Charlie I have always been the only patient and he has never once cut a session short or rushed for time, as many pt's who overbook do). He is kind, makes sure you feel comfortable and is very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. My mother hates the whole idea of exercise in general but loves working with Charlie. Ultimately, he simply provides functional, inarguable results in your recovery, and not only that but is a nice person. I have not been asked to write this review but randomly saw a negative one that is the complete antithesis of mine and my family's experiences with Charlie, so I felt the need to say something.
