The area is really run down. You can tell the place has been there forever. Super stinky too. The cattle is in full force. Take my advice travel about 10 miles south and your back in civilization. The darker women who was handling the food had gloves and the white lady who was charging me was NOT wearing gloves. The darker women handled the white women my pizza pocket then I requested some hot sauce and napkins. The lady without the gloves had the audacity to open the packet where my pizza pocket was in . Put her entire hand in & on on my pizza pocket to put the napkin/hot sauce inside my packet WITHOUT gloves so she touched my food !!! I was furious ! Regardless if we are in a middle of a pandemic or not ALWAYS wear gloves when handling food. I requested a new pizza pocket and had the white lady not touch it. To top of my horrible experience these ladies looked like they didn't care if my food was touched with bare hands like if it happens all the time. I was just lucky enough to caught it. The white lady who did not have gloves had the ugliest fingernails and hands. Let's say she needs to stop biting her nails , let them suckers grow & become friends with soap & a pair of gloves while working . (I tired posting a picture of how her hands and fingernails looked like but they keep deleting it)

The staff there can apparently serve some but once that gets to the cash register, they just walk away. Which is OK I went in earlier today and was yelled at by a little staff member. She yelled at me my whole walk to the and when I brought it to the attention of the cashier, he so many words made it very clear I was the problem. all I've seen is her and pleasant to everyone completely ignoring the fact that that staff member was still yelling at me wanting to fight. I'm sorry maybe because I used to work in a prison they held us to a higher standard, but what is expected in any establishment except this one apparently so if you go in there if anyone is rude to you, keep your mouth shut or it will get a lot worse for you. So if you want to park your car, walk your dog, or just rest in the parking lot for awhile, this is where you want to stop. Not as busy as other locations. (Good for the customer, but maybe not so good for the proprietor.) Easy on-off access to the Hwy. 99, Northbound or Southbound. Lots of bathroom stalls. Like all Love's locations, this place is stocked with whatever you need. CONCLUSION: If you're making a run on Hwy. 99 between Sacramento & Bakersfield, and you have the choice between stopping at either Tulare or Bakersfield, take Tulare ...

However, the second time passing thru we grabbed some Taco Bell but this time the lady at the reg. was changing the reg tape seemed to be in a hurry a young man helped prepare the food she had taken the potatoes behind the food line which i believe to heat them in the microwave they where so hot I couldn't hold the bowl let alone eat them, waste of money. We all know what happens to microwave cheese-(gross). The restrooms where awful they stunk like pee. The floors were very dirty you can defiantly tell they hadn't been mopped in a while. Parking lot was clean, the store was clean and stocked.
