I ordered royal wood grips for a C96 Mauser Broomhandle. When I received them I found the fit to be a bit off, but nothing that could not be fixed. But, the grip screw was a 1/8th inch short and would not meet the other side of the grip. I e-mailed the company describing the issue asking for a longer grip screw. the reply was less than satisfactory. It was as follows: No we only have one screw length for our Mausers. We have had to sand off some of the spacer in the middle in the past so the nut and escutcheon are not too deep in the grip we try to keep those as level as possible. If not satisfied certainly, you may return them. We recommend that you return via US postal service 1st class mail. We receive items as quickly & it is less expensive than Priority. Also, our address is a PO box, UPS doesn't deliver to PO Boxes. The owner doesn't refund shipping, only merchandise cost, unless we have made an error. Thank you. Really!!??
