Just some smaller details away from 5 stars…read more I stayed at this wonderful hotel for one night. It was such a joy. I was welcomed by a helpful receptionist, and was offered a welcome drink. She also explained, how the spa, pool, and restaurant worked. The spa and pool is open for hotel guest from 5-9 and the pool only from 7-9. The have 2 great terraces. One in front of the hotel, and one beside the restaurant. Both of them are arranged with tables and chairs, so you can enjoy your self in the fresh air. I visted the pool and spa for some hours. The pool isn't big, but you can activate a counter stream, so you can have a nice swim. Offcause you can have a drink at the pool bar. In the spa you can treat your self with 2 different steam baths and a Finnish sauna. It was wonderful hot. Towels and bathrobes are available. Later I had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. They served local Czech food with a modern twist. I definitely recommend to eat dinner at the hotel. It was so good. They only serve one wine by the glass, but it was a okay one. I would rather have had some more choices. The breakfast is also good. They have the traditional Czech morning buffet, but you can also have prepared different hot dishes. I got the omelette with cheese and ham. The staff was so nice and helpful. Most of the speak English or German. I'm going back for a longer visit soon.

Their website lists numerous destinations and itineraries perfect for first time travelers. With these as a starting point they will customize your trip adding and subtracting destinations, activities and hotels at a variety of price points. Out first trip to the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary was to an area they had specialized in for many years. Martin was there to hold my hand every step of the way and was of great assistance when our passports were stolen on a train on the way to Budapest. Even that experience didn't spoil the trip. Our second trip was to Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Once again GRT came through with flying colors. Typically each city is introduced to you the morning after your arrival. An exceptional guide will greet you at your hotel to take you on a walking tour based on your personal interests. What could be better? GRT provides an amazing day by day digital guide for you entire trip. These include walking directions for when you are out and about on your own. With GPS and Goggle maps one can plot these points on one's own but GRT does so much more: tips for great stopping points, activities, and food paced as you like and in the proper order to avoid backtracking and days when sites are closed. Martin listened to my concerns regarding my husbands mobility issues and arranged for a private car and driver for longer outings and day trips. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the recommended hotels. They were perfectly located for the activities we enjoy. September 2024 was our third trip with GRT, this time for three weeks in Spain. We had traveled to parts of Spain in the past so wanted assistance with a very customized itinerary. Martin and the rest of the team did a magnificent job making the trip and experience as hassle free and wonderful as possible. I realize that this high praise may make me sound like the marketing director of GRT but I assure you that I have not benefitted in any way for my review. It's just my way of thanking GRT for their dedication to providing an excellent peronalised product in a friendly and efficient manner. I look forward to working with them again in the future. Where should we go next?

We took our second trip with Go Real Europe (first to Berlin, Krakow, Bosnia; second to Croatia)…read moreand both trips went on incredibly with not one mishap. Who can say that about a travel company?? Martin was our representative from the company for both trips and was accessible to answer my questions -- and make changes to our itineraries practically up to the last minute. He worked with me (and I don't think I'm the easiest person to work with!) and made great suggestions as to how to make both trips absolutely the best. My husband and I travel frequently and don't like "group" tours and this company allows you to travel on your own, but with ground transportation, hotels and guides booked in advance. As for the guides, I have never had such wonderfully informed guides and it was a pleasure to have private tours everywhere we went. Interestingly, in Croatia our drivers were just as informed as our guides, which made the trip even better. Now that the pandemic is over, we look forward to working with Martin and Go Real Europe soon!

I hate that I forgot our driver's name because he was AMMAZING! We took a windy tour around Prague from the waterfront to the city square to John Lennon's memorial - all pretty dope. I cannot recommend this tour more - a great time filled with details about this really old and really cool city!

Unfortunately it was not the best experience. Our pick up time was 4 pm, Prague-time. I made sure we were in the lobby a few minutes before in case they were early so we could take advantage of a break in the rain we had been receiving that day. But there was no Old Car. After 15 minutes without a car and no word from the company, I sent an email to them and received a response that the car was minutes away. It did not arrive until after 430, nearly the time that our 40-minute ride would be coming to an end. As an apology, the driver had a bottle of prosecco. Very nice, but I don't drink. My traveling companions had some but it was a rainy, windy day so it wasn't the best choice in terms of beverage selections! We started with the top down but soon after we needed to pull over and put it on because the rain started up again. If it's raining, you might as well tool around Prague in an Uber because it's hard to see anything or take any pictures. The blankets supplied helped keep us warm and dry-ish but really dampened the entire experience. Had the driver come on time, it would have been a dry ride and a completely different experience.

It was a small group with two guides (both named Martin!) who were local Czechs but spoke flawless English. Here are the details: Pick-up: they picked me up from my hotel, came inside and found me, were very personable, and punctual! Gear: they provided me with everything I needed! For the rafting tour, there was a life jacket and a dry bag, and for the bike tour, I had a bike, helmet, and a day pack included. Tour itself: Rafting-you can do this even if you're just a beginner. They give you all the instruction and the guide got in my canoe to help me steer-because I needed it :). We stopped for a great authentic czech meal in a small village and then caught a train back to town after. Bike tour-i did the castle (Karlstejn) and brewery tour which is approx 50km total. I've never biked more than 3mi before (and this is approx 30 mi) and i was terrified but the guides were so so awesome and supportive. It wasnt terribly hilly but when we had an uphill area and i slowed down, there was always a guide with me making sure I was ok. There were plenty of breaks along the way and even some options about which path we could take. The ride itself was beautiful along the river and up to the castle. We ended at a brewery with lunch included and Martin came and picked us up from the brewery after (though there is an option to bike to the train station). HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Drop-off: also back to my hotel!! How awesome after being exhausted. The group: small groups! There were only 2-3 of us, which made the tours customizable and personable. The guides: cannot speak more highly of Martin & Martin (haha, same names!!). I was traveling alone and they made me feel so at home. They gave me recs for what to do later that night and even called restaurants and booked reservations for me. Both the guys made me feel like I have lifelong friends in Praha and if I come back, I'll definitely hang out with them. Overall rec: MUST DO! Reasonable price, amazing people, fabulous way to see a new city. I'm not usually this active on vacations but am so happy I found explore-adventure trips Prague !!

When my activity ended, I was dropped off at a restaurant for nearly two hours without any update during that time. They also mentioned having enough cell signal to upload photos and send messages, while the guide claimed he couldn't reach me due to lack of signal and was waiting for another participant. Waiting alone for that long in an unfamiliar area was unacceptable as well as not being informed of any delays, and left afterwards. If you do decide to book this tour, I strongly recommend confirming that you'll remain with the main group to avoid being left in a remote location without reliable transportation back to the city. If I could give this a 0 star, I would.

There are large picture windows at each seat so you can get a good view of the gorgeous fields and landscapes along the way. The trip didn't take too long. We boarded in Vienna at 9am and arrived in Prague at 2pm. Otherwise, the bus was kept at a cozy temperature. (I was able to snuggle with my girlfriend without getting overheated and flying into a fit of hot rage.) The seats were comfortable and soft. And the bus was staffed with two male drivers and a female attendant. Basically like a flight attendant. She came around offering food and beverage for sale (sorry, nothing free!). And each seat was equipped with its own TV/entertainment screen. We didn't bother though as this was a night bus to Prague from Mannheim and we needed to at least attempt sleep.

At 76 years old I was nervous about the bike ride in September 2018, but he confidently took us from the busy streets of Old Town over and along the Vltava River to bike paths leading into Mala Strana and the Castle, which overlooks much of the city. On our walking tour a year later in 2019, he took us to the Vyšehrad neighborhood and Střelecký Island, all within easy walking distance of our hotel. Michal stops often to offer information and take photos (Michal kindly sent us the photos that he took). We visited several delightful Czech cafes: Kavarna Novy SvEt and U Kroka. We wore windbreakers on the bike ride and jackets for the walk in mid-to-late fall. No rain! We hope to set up another tour with Michael on a return visit.

I was recently visiting Prague for the first time for a conference. A group of us from the…read moreconference wanted to get out and see the outskirts of Prague by bike, so we hired Michal for a couple of hours. We had an outstanding day! Michal met with me the day before (came out to the conference site even) to hear what we wanted, the abilities of the riders, and offer some options based on that information. He arranged for the bike rentals, and made plans for a day that perfectly fit our needs as riders new to Prague. I am a fairly adventurous person and experienced city bike rider, so I suppose I could have rented some bikes on my own and used a bike map. But here's where Michal is worth every krona and more: He speaks Czech and has knowledge of how to craft a ride route that really maximizes the little time we had. My experience during my visit was that very few Czechs speak English, and almost no one does the farther away from the center of town you get. So, for every negotiation we had an ambassador. For example, when we were having a snack at a bike path shack north of Prague and needed to negotiate a ferry ride across the Vltava to catch a train back into the city, Michal took care of it. Yes, I acknowledge that sometimes those moments are part of the overall adventure of foreign travel. But if you just want to focus on the ride, the scenery, and allow yourself to enjoy the experience without worrying about the logistical details, then I highly recommend My Green Prague. Also, Michal is charming, totally willing to adapt to the customer's agenda, and fair priced. If anything, I think he could charge more based on the service we got. PS - The bikes we rented were great. They were in good shape, and the shop had "extras" available (ex, paniers) for a fair and reasonable price. It was nice to be able to customize each person's rental so no one ended up paying for something they didn't need or want. Bottom line: Michal is one of those unique professionals in the tourism business who is successful at delivering exactly what is described (and more, in our case) on his website. No games, no up sells, we never felt like he was anything less than totally enthusiastic about Prague, biking, and having a good time while on vacation.
