Seit Januar 2013 biete ich Ihnen im Restaurant Mühlenhof frische, hausgemachte Landhausküche auf hohem Niveau. Seit Generationen bin ich tief mit Longerich verwurzelt. Hierher bin ich zurückgekommen, um meinen Traum vom "Eigenen" zu erfüllen und möchte als Gastgeber meine Liebe zum Essen und zur Heimat köstlich miteinander verknüpfen. Erfahrung konnte ich in einigen der Besten Häuser der Region sammeln. So erlernte ich mein Handwerk in der Monkey's Gastronomie in Düsseldorf, welche zeitweise mit einem Stern dekoriert war. Einige weitere Stationen meines Werdegangs verschlugen mich in das Restaurant Gut Lärchenhof, in die Alte Feuerwache in Würselen und einige Stationen in der Schweiz. Mein Können als Küchenchef konnte ich erstmals in der Küchenmeisterei im Schloss Lüntenbeck zeigen und erkochte dort zusammen mit meinem Team erstmalig 13 Punkte im Restauratführer Gault Millau, sowie zwei "F" im Feinschmecker. Gehobene Gastronomie ohne Beiwerk, bestes Essen begleitet von ausgesuchten Weinen namhafter deutscher und europäischer Winzer - das ist die tägliche Herausforderung, der wir uns gerne stellen. Wir haben aus dem Mühlenhof ein Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen und Genießen gemacht. Verlockend sind auch unsere Veranstaltungsreihen.

Came here for a takeaway order.. had to have something to occupy myself while watching a 3 hour movie that night at a friend's house. I was in the mood for more veggies... maybe some kind of mixed plate of some sort? I ended up getting some sort of grilled plate that consisted of the gyro meat covered in amazing tzatziki sauce, layered with thinly sliced onions, and several pepperoncinis, with a warm bed of rice sitting on the side. A side of literally ALL the veggies in their cold case were served in a small takeaway dish for me too! It was super great! Meat- Flavorful, not salty like some gyro meats, and just the right about of smokiness to it! Rice- Awesomeness!! It was seasoned really well... never had it before, but had some sort of tomato base to it. YUM! Perfectly cooked, almost like a risotto like, texture! Veggies- Pickled, refreshing, and a TON of variety! All this cost about 10€... a bit pricey for typical Gyro places, but the service, and the quality of food was worth the price tag!
