Great place to get gyros in Nippes. I really like coming…read morehere to grab a bite. The portions are big, the flavor is great and the service is pretty nice, as one could expect from greeks. Prices are pretty standard for this kind of food, so with less than 10€ you'll have a great meal. It's located on a side street of the Neusser Str. at the Florastr. subway station. The place is small and somehow a bit hidden. Is one of those places you get to know because someone recommended it to you. So, i'm telling you, if you like gyros, you should go there. Came here for a takeaway order.. had to have something to occupy myself while watching a 3 hour movie that night at a friend's house. I was in the mood for more veggies... maybe some kind of mixed plate of some sort? I ended up getting some sort of grilled plate that consisted of the gyro meat covered in amazing tzatziki sauce, layered with thinly sliced onions, and several pepperoncinis, with a warm bed of rice sitting on the side. A side of literally ALL the veggies in their cold case were served in a small takeaway dish for me too! It was super great! Meat- Flavorful, not salty like some gyro meats, and just the right about of smokiness to it! Rice- Awesomeness!! It was seasoned really well... never had it before, but had some sort of tomato base to it. YUM! Perfectly cooked, almost like a risotto like, texture! Veggies- Pickled, refreshing, and a TON of variety! All this cost about 10€... a bit pricey for typical Gyro places, but the service, and the quality of food was worth the price tag!
