While it has 33 rooms- know that the front desk staff may also be serving you your dinner, renting you a bike or even making you a drink as they do everything with a small staff here. The room I had was a double and faced the patio out front. No air conditioning but the windows open to let in the sea breezes and you may be able together a small fan from the front desk if they have any available. The beds are comfortable , Internet is free, and there was even a couch and sitting area along with a desk in the room I had. A delicious breakfast is also included in your rate with eggs and bacon, breads, meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and individual coffee pots you can take to your table. The bathroom while small, had good water pressure but be careful of the step. The tile looks flat but there was a step down to the shower that fooled me every time!! On one of the nights I was there - the owner and her mother cooked a beautiful pork roast dinner for our group of 18 complete with salad, glazed potatoes, and a kind of "fruit soup" for dessert served with heavy cream that was out of this world!. You can rent bikes for the day from the front desk which is a great way to see AEros. Just find the bike out front that you want, look for the number on it and ask for the key at the desk. The cost is about 150 dk per day. I loved that they have a patio out front where you can sit and have drinks, or even take your breakfast outside. And the location is just up from the ferry landing and close to the grocery store and most if the restaurants on the island. And if you want to rent a private cottage for your family- they have a number of those available as well. A great choice is you find yourself on AEros island!!

It is less than a 5 minute walk door to door. I'll separately post more tips on the LEGO House but make sure to book your tickets online and book for the first time slot. You get a discount and can be one of the first people in before it starts to get filled. Back to the hotel - loved the decor. It was very classic Danish and hygge. Also after coming from Copenhagen, it was of great value in my opinion. Breakfast was included with our booking and was delicious! The hotel has a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (days and hours open vary by season). It was very cozy and warm. The restaurant had sheepskin on some of the chairs, candles and cut flowers on tables, live plants and decoration on the window sills, and framed poems and sayings on the walls. So very hygge! The hotel has some common areas with a modest assortment of LEGOs, books and board games. There is a fridge and dining table along with gathering areas with sofas and chairs. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms basic but clean and comfortable. There is a little market with a nice assortment of gifts. The hotel is about a 5+ minute walk to the bus stop (Billund Centret). Very convenient if you're taking the bus from Lejle (take bus 43). Lastly, the shower had great water pressure. They kindly helped us organise our visit at Egeskov castle. Breakfast is very diversified, we were able to eat a different breakfast every day. Note that breakfast ends at 9:30 which is a little early but still. I used the laundry service, and I thought it was quite pricy, but I guess laundry service is pricy in every hotel (and it was still 4 times cheaper than in Norway). The hotel is close to the train station, and near restaurants and parks. I highly recommend.

No wasting around. You can buy breakfast extra and park your car 100m from the hotel. Very close to the airport. I like it here and can recommend.

The view is amazing, easily the best part of the hotel. If you stay here, take the water view, otherwise don't bother. Their home brewed Ale is actually pretty decent also! The three stars are not more, because the hotel is expensive and not kid friendly. If I was here on business it would have been four, no question.
