Rumours say that the owner was involved in the conception of the famous "Hüftgold" in Flingern, so you can imagine what to expect here. They know what they are doing and do it with a smile. The proprietor who reminds me of a young Lyle Lovett was very tolerant of the fact that I only spoke English. This is my place. Most important aspects first: free WiFi (the password is scribbled on the blackboard behind the counter), friendly staff, quiet lounge music and all in all quite the relaxed atmosphere with really comfy chairs. They have a great selection of sweet treats - I tried the white chocolate & lemon muffin, sounds weird, tastes like heaven! Apparently they also sell frozen yoghurt, though it was far too cold to try that out! The coffee is good, nothing mind-blowing or exceptional, but simply good, at quite decent prices. Only drawback: too many seats for such a small café...it was quiet when I was here, but if this place is crowded, I'd hate to have people all around me.
