This is the closest station to the Luxembourg that sells subway, metro, and bus tickets - also…read moreknown as T+ - which costs about 1.9 euros each further towards the north side. If you buy a pack of 10, it is 14.5 euros, which is a savings of 4.5 euros.
Honestly, maybe it was bad timing or they've met too many obnoxious Americans, but we did not feel welcomed. At night time, it seems that none of the staff spoke English. No one really explained the different between a t+, a Navigo 1 week, or Navigo 1 month pass to us, which made us sad. Nonetheless, we did get a couple of t+ tickets here and put it to good use.
So, let me break it down for y'all for those who want to know. a Navigo Smart card Week pass price, valid only from Monday at 00:00 to Sunday 23:59:59 as of August 1, 2016 and it is 22.5 euros to travel to all zones. You can read more about it if you search on google. This, in my opinion, would work best for those arriving on Mondays and leaving on Sundays - since you can use it more effectively and get the most value. However, if you arrive mid-week, it may be best to just get the 10 t+ tickets if you're not going to be running around too much.
Personally, we planned out all the routes and figured that the pack of 10 worked best for us. All in all, we thought it was a good experience, but not one we'd soon repeat anytime in the near future.
