I have driven past this place many times while in McAllen but had no idea what it was. I decided to look it up and found its a game and comic shop! I stopped in to browse the stores cool stuff and omg there is so much stuff in there! If youre a collector, trading card collector or memorabilia and resin statue collector this place is the spot! They had so many minu statues, old figurines from Star Wars, Spiderman, Ninja Turtles, Gundam models etc. If you collect you must stop in here! read more

The shop is large with many comics. They had a selection of signed comics as well.The cashier was off-putting and intimidating. Their anime figures are ridiculously overpriced. A figure found online for only $50 is almost $300 in store? Where do they come up with this ridiculous pricing? I'll be checking out a different store rather than return here. read more

This store used to be one of the best stores in the RGV but ever since it was taken over by younger owner and her minions it has really gone down drain the prices on under items is well over double most expensive store in the McAllen area highly do not recommend ever going here on top of this some of the rudest employee that I've ever met simply asked a question determining their price and how they're getting that price immediately responds with hostility and rudeness this place has gone under and is the reason why they have no community for their card games really the only people that go there don't know better if you want to look for a comic book store I highly recommend going to kaboom comics if you're looking for cards I highly recommend you go anywhere else but this egregious place. read more

I really try to like this place but their customer service is as bad as it gets. Every time I go there, it feels like Im trespassing or like the employees are bothered by me being there. They have an awesome selection of products but its all pointless when the staff treats you like a sh*t. There is a guy with glasses that works there and seems to be the only one that cares about anything. The old man and the tall dude are just the worst. No shame. Myth Adventures is a fun place to visit with their loads of figures, comics, table top board games, and more. I was happy to see a big variety of things, and as a horror guy they had plenty of the stuff that makes me tick. At the time that I went they had lots of Alien and Godzilla figures, and plenty of the usual superhero and action figurines as well. The prices were fair. We even priced some things on Amazon (Funko Pops) and the prices were the same, minus the wait for shipping. The staff was friendly, helpful in finding items for us, and the general populous of people there were fun to be around. read more

This store is really cool even if you're not an avid reader of comic books. I came in looking for a gift for my cousin and was completely lost when I walked in, but the employees were really helpful and I ended up finding a really nice gift! Great comic and TCG/CCG store especially for Magic the Gathering. They sale single cards for different sets of Magic, only place in the Edinburg-McAllen area that sales booster boxes for Magic, Pokemon and other TCG/CCG games and have the best selection of sleeves. Service is great, employees are very friendly and help with anything you need. The selection of statues is second to none. The atmosphere in the store is very relaxing/easy, which is probably why you can easily get lost in the greatness of this shop. read more
